The coffee at black sheep never fails to disappoint. I had some work to finish and decided to work in black sheep for an hour. The cafe was clean, had a good atmosphere and my salted caramel coffee was delicious (I nearly ordered another one). There was a lovely girl and boy working (girl had short hair and the boy had glasses). I will definitely be back and be using black sheep St James as my coffee shopping stop.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Black Sheep Coffee & Cocktail, and I must say, it was a five-star experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening.
The highlight for me was definitely the delicious cakes they offer. The selection was fantastic, and each bite was a heavenly experience. Whether you're a fan of rich chocolate cakes or fruity delights, they have something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
The coffee and cocktails were equally impressive. The baristas clearly know their craft, and the drinks were expertly prepared, bursting with flavor.
What sets Black Sheep apart, aside from the delectable treats, is the attentive and friendly staff. They made sure our visit was enjoyable, and their recommendations were spot-on.
I can't recommend Black Sheep Coffee & Cocktail enough. It's the perfect place to unwind with great company, delightful cakes, and exceptional beverages. Five stars all the way!

Excellent coffee, but even better is the fantastic staff!!! Open at 7am and easy location.
For those with a sweet tooth, get the honey cardamom oat latte, and add two pumps of vanilla per the barista’s recommendation. Excellent!!!!!

My friend and I came for the amazing cocktails, but were blessed with the ambiance and amazing, friendly staff who provided excellent service. I would recommend this place to anyone. Their expresso martini is a must try!

Very cool coffee shop with a nice selection of morning liquid refreshments. The cafe has a contactless digital ordering system that made ordering quick and efficient. Great vibe like the rest of Edinburgh!

Early Sunday morning break after a hike. The Coffee was very good. We got the Robusto Roast of a Piccalo and Flat White. Also the cheese toast and a bananna/PB waffle. All the food was great. Wonderful service. Clean establishment.

A great place to go for when you have to be up early and want to chill with a coffee to start your day. Such a fun team they have and an inviting atmosphere. My regular order is an iced caramel latte in which this was made by Carrie today, couldn’t fault them- what a great coffee! Will be back :)

This place is great! It's in a convenient location and there's always plenty of seating available in the spacious interior. Plus, they serve delicious food to go with their great coffee (including an all-day breakfast menu). What's even better is that they're dog-friendly, so it's the perfect spot for pet owners. My dog loved the puppuccino and I highly recommend it!
