Very cute place and friendly team. Loved that they had a vegan savoury option, although everything was just slightly overpriced- for 2 pies with beans and 2 cans of juice, £11. They were certainly tasty though and hopefully will be back to try their coffee and vegan apple pie.

Such a cool funky coffee shop in Leith. The coffee was perfect and they even gave us a free lolly bag for our journey back into town. Awesome ☕️

Always really friendly service and all round a good team. The coffee is always great - went in the summer for their iced coffee with ice cream and was thrilled they also offered a vegan option for those who cannot have dairy. The pies are also delicious and the macaroni pie is a must try (especially with beans, given pies can get a little dry). Worth a visit :)

This is a really friendly, welcoming place with a great vibe to it. It's easy to feel a bit intimidated by the uber-cool coffee places popping up in Leith - I know I sometimes do. This place, however, is a wee gem providing classic, tasty snacks and amazing coffee. What's more, the people working there are so nice, friendly and helpful to everyone! I always leave with a smile on my face :-)

Delicious pies and sweet treats. I loved the haggis and mash pie.

Small but with a big heart. I like Chums! Come here for Mac pie, haggis pie, chicken pie... You get the picture! There's also a pretty good selection of expertly made baking and I've never been able to resist. Nor have I ever regretted it. Tip: Need a quick coffee to go that's good and not overpriced? Chums! It's probably only a few minutes from whichever posh coffee shop your friend suggested! Chums isn't big. There's a tiny table and if it's raining the chances are someone else has it already and so think of Chums as a takeaway. However, there's a play park with seats just across so if you need to take the weight off your feet for a bit that problem is solved. The food is good but the friendly service is great! I feel that it makes a world of difference and I've always enjoyed my visits to this petite neon oasis of joy.

The staff are so pleasant and welcoming, and the coffee always hits the spot. Added bonus is that they’re dog friendly and are always happy to see our pup!
