The Walnut Speakeasy

Aside from the fact the food is reasonably priced and the portions are generous I love the atmosphere at The Walnut Speakeasy. Great place to eat after experiencing and Escape Room 4 minutes away. Good variety of food for three generations of family members. Chocolate Sundae complimentary for our daughter's birthday. Super waitress. Great use of an old building.

It's definitely a place to go on a Sunday night for just something chill. Service was a bit under par but maybe that's cuz I'm used to big city service; our server was nice however. The Cajun Burger was disappointing because with Cajun spice there should be some flavor. With this burger, there wasn't. It was completely bland. The fries were decent. My friend got the Chili and I should've gotten that too lol THAT! Had flavor and tasted amazing. It also had a little kick to it which was the saving grace. On the flip-side, the burger was cooked to medium-rare temperature as requested.

Walnut speak easy is a local popular location with good food and drinks - draft beers are not many but the popular stuff. Burgers are good and well known as well as the wings and people say the pizza. Service is good, fast even during the Covid limited seating. Plenty of parking with open options to new back area.

We ordered a hamburger, chicken wings, nachos and a bbq pizza to have for lunch the next day. Everything was fresh and so good. The side of coleslaw with the burger was the best I ever had (2nd to my mother's of course) The burger is the best in town. Their menu has something for everyone. I have never had a negative experience here. I highly recommend.
