A pleasant Harvester, which is a budget to moderately priced restaurant that is known for its Rotisserie chicken and unlimited salad bar.
The staff are lovely but more reactive than proactive here, but super friendly. E.g. We had to get up to grab our waitress after waiting a few minutes despite it being quiet, but she was nice when she came over. We didn't get our water until half way through the meal when we reminded them and getting seated took a couple of minutes even though no queue. The salad bar had run out of a few items, but topped up immediately as soon as we asked by the super nice kitchen staff.
The real reason we gave this restaurant4 stars was that the chicken was so delicious and as it was a Thursday, we got 2 for 1 meaning our meal was just £15 for 2 people. So if you are patient, on a budget but love rotisserie chicken and salad, fries etc, definitely come here.

Great value, pleasant staff but slow service x
Harvester. Lunch time 12.til 5 offer 2 or 3 courses. Very good value. Very quick service. Sonja the waitress is so lovely there. She's been there for years now. Always pleasant. Other staff friendly and helpful too.. salad bar is so nice. And I recommend the red devil sauce.. child friendly.nwarm cosy place
Pleasantly relaxed dining. Restaurant side was fully booked so we sat on the pub side. It's the same food, we just ordered at the bar. I actually prefer this as it meant that we didn't have to wait for a waitress and the food got brought over anyway. Unlimited salad bar with every main meal meant a very healthy and filling dinner, whatever we ordered. The kids meal was ridiculously good value with a main, unlimited salad, drink and ice cream sundae for £5.99. My wife said the pulled pork burger was the best burger she's had in a long time: full of flavour and tender. Got an extra 10% cashback via Santander too.
