Very nice menu, food was delicious 😋 the staff were very friendly and service was very good. They offer afternoon teas as well which look amazing so, will definitely be back. Only minor criticism was that the black pudding I had was very dry and hard and although the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was delicious it would have benefited from a small side salad to break up the flavours. But nothing that would stop me recommending others to visit.
Had a lovely lunch here today with my Sister. The staff are really friendly & helpful.
We had a hot chocolate drink each & it was delicious 😋.
I had the jumbo fish & chunky chips with peas.
The chips were crispy & so tasty.
The fish was so massive I didn't think I could finish it . . . I tried my best though.
My sister had the chilli burger.
This included french fries which were so hot & crispy, salad & coleslaw.
The burger was meaty with cheese.
We really enjoyed our meals & was left feeling really stuffed & happy.
We had a wonder outside where there was cows & sheep's.
Will definitely come again .
Absolutely a wee gem of a spot. It's very rare to find spots that have a gluten free menu, gluten free bakes, and are dog and kid friendly. The Barn has it all. The staff are just lovely too. Really impressed and so glad we discovered this spot. It's definitely going to be our new local place to go.
What a fabulous place for a meal, food was fresh and excellent quality, the staff were very friendly and quick and the environment was just a wonderful location for adults and kids alike
Great use of a old barn! Staff are friendly. Food is cooked to order so slight wait for hot food, all local ingredients. Scones were delicious. Great little local cafe
Popped into this lovely, deceptively sized place for brunch after visiting the seals at Newburgh beach. It gives nothing away from the outside, so don't let that fool you! On the inside it is clean, bright, and decorated beautifully in a shabby-chic yet modern style. There is art on the walls by a local artist and small gift items to buy. The breakfast I had was really delicious, reasonably priced and came very promptly, along with a coffee which hit the spot nicely. The staff were friendly and helpful and all in all I was really happy I took a chance to go somewhere new. I have recommended The Barn to my family who will be visiting at Easter. They and I will be returning customers!
This was a good choice for lunch. There is plenty space and all the current safety measures are taken seriously. There were a few people in for lunch and the staff on duty were very welcoming. I had the chilli beef and you get a big helping. The lady tried to persuade me to have cake but I was too full.
Had a great meal here.wasnt cheap but was top quality food.the burgers were brilliant.took home cakes and they didnt last the day.everyone of them was great.
Always very good food. Their mocktails and cakes are super good. The staff is very attentive and the place is lovely.
Excellent light meal with family on Easter Sunday I had the steak sandwich with a flat white, very tasty and filling, good service from the young staff and all for under a tenner, we will be back.
