Always great food from here, friendly service on the phone and in person. Some of these reviews crack me up. They don't hide the fact that they are cash only and that really isn't that unusual for Chinese takeaways in my experience, also don't mind at all that they are collection only! They advise on the phone how long the food will be and it's always been right ready and piping hot. Never had a bad meal. 5 stars from me, and will continue to tell people that this is the bets Chinese in town.
I really like Fortune Garden. Wide ranging menu, and the food is consistently good. Only downside is it is cash only, which regularly catches me out in an increasingly contact less world. Should definitely take cards.
Fortune Garden Takeaway is a real gem. The place we had arranged to eat after attending a show in Ely closed early, leaving us hungry and disappointed. A quick check on googlemaps showed a takeaway just around the corner so we went there instead. lucky us! The staff were very friendly, even let our youngest child use their bathroom while we waited, and let us eat at a table in the waiting area as we had nowhere to go and sit while eating. It was only a simple feast; chips, chicken balls, sweat and sour sauce and chop suey, but it was delicious. A real treat.
We would readily recommend the Fortune Garden as a place to go to for good service and good food.

For me this is the best Chinese take away in Ely (that I know of). It's a good thing they only accept cash payments, otherwise I'd eat there far too often.
This is the only Chinese takeaway for me, the food is so good I can't bare ordering from anywhere else as it just doesn't live up to the same quality.

It was not that expensive under 35 quid only thing i dont like is the waiting time and that they dont deliver.... the prawn toast was burnt abit underneath and the chips arent that great nor is the bbq sauce but the other dishes made up for it. Best chicken/prawn balls

Brilliant...Ordered a delivery to our boat on the river. Quite possibly the best tastiest chinese food we have had. Very friendly staff. Fantastic will be using again soon

Best Chinese in the whole area. Been using them for years, travel from Soham because it's well worth the drive. Sweet and sour chicken balls are a must! Brilliant
