Shared the roast Lamb , portion was great plenty for two people ! Loads of roast potatoes and good selection of vegetables ! Massive yorkshire !
Father in law had trout again great portion size !
Good service and ambience
I've never had a bad meal here. The menu has different specials all through the year. Plates are hot so mind yourself but food stays hot. Service is good but when it's busy you may have to wait a few minutes. Would recommend it but would advise you to book a table as it gets busy at lunchtime. Very reasonably priced too.
Our veggie roast dinners were very good. The actual roast part could have been a bit crisper but the veggies and gravy were very good. Children ate for £10. I had the creme brulee, wasn't a fan of the layer of blueberry but that's just personal taste. Service was very good and the children enjoyed the outside area.
I had been craving a good vegan pub roast for weeks! After 2 failed attempts at 2 other Enfield pubs in the last few weeks ("we've run out of vegan roasts", "the menu is new and we haven't got any of that in stock yet"!!), I went to the trusty Robin Hood and struck gold. Delicious but roast, tasty veg...this will be my number one destination next time I fancy a roast!
Very nice Sunday lunch. The lamb shank was delicious. Party of 11 and everyone was happy with their food. Good service with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Deserts were also very good. If I lived closer to Enfield I would be a regular. Edit: I forgot to mention that they have a nice garden area, if outdoor dining is your thing.
First time there but definitely won't be my last. Food was amazing
Come her regularly with my family, we always enjoy the food which is great quality and so is the service. The pressed pork and nachos were excellent; the nachos are like a deep fried puff pastry which , in my opinion, is far nicer than fried corn tortilla chips.
The food is well priced and portion sizes are generous.
Lovely atmosphere too, it's definitely a gourmet pub kind of vibe.
Every waiter has been a little confused when I ask for the "pilsner" as there isn't an option for it on their POS systems but it's definitely on the menu 🥺 so that part of the menu might need updating
Wonderful pub/restaurant in a lovely great location. Food (we had a Sunday lunch) was really tasty and reasonably priced, and service very good. However, the portions were a bit on the smallish size, hence a reduction of 1 star (i.e. 4 stars instead of 5). Will definitely be going back to this establishment.
By far the best pub I've been to. Newly refurbed. Whatever rep they had, it didn't show on our visit today. FANTASIC staff and customer service. I felt spoilt. The menu is varied and food was really tasty.
(I forgot to take a picture of the main course, but it looked and tasted so delicious, I ate it before I realised, oops).
Very dog friendly staff, and the back garden has loads of table space and running area for kids and dogs.
I hope they keep up this level of service, it certainly would keep me coming back, despite the 1 hour drive away for me.
Never fails to provide a nice atmosphere and good meal with quick and friendly service they've recently changed the menu a bit and it's really lovely. Seating is available inside and out, both of which are both nice and comfortable.
Had a lovely meal for mother's day. The food was delicious! Fresh & hearty food. friendly attentive staff. I will definitely be returning.
A lovely pub! We ordered the vegan burrata as a starter (it was excellently seasoned. We were so impressed with the thought put into that dish), a chicken & leek pie and their vegan burger plus 2 draught beers. All items were delicious. Creamy, buttery mash, excellent gravy and a very nice pie. The fries with the burger were nicely cooked and fluffy on the inside and the burger was good. I was so happy to stumble upon this place after other local pubs had no appealing vegan options. You can tell they’ve really thought about their menu here. Nice interiors and a relaxed atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back! Average price for a main is about £15, good portions and everything was cooked well. Dog friendly too!
2 draught beers, a tea (teapigs), 1 starter and 2 mains came to £52.
