Great spot for dinner. We tried a few dishes including the halloumi with fig sauce and an excellent chicken wrap. (Wish I could recall the name - but it’s on the dinner menu!) Everything was so flavorful, and we also enjoyed the Turkish wine selection. Service was friendly too.
Excellent food and reasonable prices. We had a late lunch at 3.30pm and they offered us their lunch set menu. We had the roast lamb, mousakka and chicken tikka. Tea n coffee were complimentary!
I have been to this restaurant a few times and it keeps not disappointing me. The staff are so amazing and welcoming, and the food is just really good and comes in descents proportions. They do have vegetarian options as well which taste really nice. Don't be surprised if you get free food haha, they can be pretty generous. (We got the bread, salad on the side, and some Turkish delights for free)
I would recommend this restaurant, the ambiance, the food and the friendly staff. The plate was rather large for me, though the food was so delicious I made a good attempt to finish it.
An excellent Turkish restaurant, delicious food and reasonable portions. However, they have recently changed their normal menu (not sure about lunch menu) which has resulted in less options and a overall pricier experience. Will still visit the restaurant however probaly not as frequently given the changes.
You’re not spoilt for choice of places to eat in Exeter – but Pasha on South Street turned out to combine great food with excellent value.
On a recent visit, and looking for something a little different, we headed away from the chain stores of Princesshay and the High Street and happened upon this ‘authentic Turkish restaurant’. Lured in by the lunch-time set menu offer (two courses for £10.90, three for £13.90, available from 12 noon to 5pm), we were instantly greeted by a waiter who gave us our pick of the tables and promptly brought over menus.
There weren’t many other customers but this was a welcoming, warm and cheerful venue with low-level Turkish music as background. For starters we chose hummus with flatbread, and a Greek salad (the cross over between Turkish and Greek cuisine was obvious from the number of ingredients they have in common), with a pot of mint tea to share.
Those quickly arrived, very tasty and refreshing, and then the mains were brought over – I had lamb kebab with bulghur wheat while my partner had moussaka with chips. Everything was obviously freshly prepared and delicious – the lamb was well spiced and succulent, while the moussaka was a cut above the ordinary.
The service was excellent, the waiter friendly and helpful, and the meal was completed with Turkish delight and Turkish coffee on the house. All in all, a great value lunch for under £25 – highly recommended if you want something that’s a class above the High Street chains that predominate in the more touristy areas.
We had a lovely family dinner during our stay in Devon. We had a large family (approx 26 people) and Labbaik were very accommodating ensuring there was enough seats and tables to fit all of us. The quality of the food was lovely and really enjoyed the different Karahi and mixed grill. The waitress in particular was very sweet and ensuring we had everything we needed. Not sure if the restaurant is used to accommodating for that many people which made it even more special! Thank you again.
Tasty food with good service. Lamb moussaka is delicious!
Me and my partner went for a meal this evening at pashas and we were very surprised the quality of food it was amazing and the flavours were cooked very well, pasha has been let down by having many business owners and chefs but this time round 5 stars! Me and my partner both with Türkish backgrounds find it hard to find somewhere to eat that does the turkish cuisine very well! Lovely atmosphere lovely food and lovely staff well done.
This place is fantastic! We stumbled across us by accident. Everywhere else was pretty empty one Monday night and this place was full, so we guessed it might be pretty good. I had the special (stuffed aubergine) and it was the BEST Turkish food I've had in this country. They also have us complementary bread & Olivier, Turkish delight and tea!
