Modern fine dining restaurant with smartly thought out design and exciting menu.
We had a set three course menu - vegetarian and pescatarian options . Ideas behind each dish are bright, fresh and novel.
However mushroom on toast lacked depth of flavour. Beetroot and Jerusalem artichoke in Risotto dish needed more texture and caramelisation.
All in all very lovely place and exciting team. Will be following your culinary journey.

We had a voucher from my partners son. We booked for lunch and sat in the court yard. We had pink fizz and a cuvee to start along with olives and the olive oil toasted sourdough was sublime. We chose 6 tapas style dishes, they were all delicious along with a glass of their red and white wine to accompany them, it was so good that my partner proposed and I said yes ❤️

The venue is beautiful in fabulous surrounding countryside,just the place for a birthday lunch..
The food was delicious but we found the menu a little daunting.
The staff were excellent,very helpful, couldn't do enough for us.
A very unique experience which I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Potentially bias as my boyfriend is a chef here but can genuinely say the most beautiful place to come and have a meal. Everything made on site, gorgeous interior design and service. Had a meal today with 5 others and all thoroughly enjoyed the menu. Everything is locally produced, or made on site. The winery is definitely worth a visit too :)

We came at 2pm for a lunch with some friends today. The service , food and wine were all absolutely exceptional. The food is incredible - not pretentious and absolutely delicious. All the staff were very knowledgeable on the food and wine. Our first time here and we will be back soon. 10/10. Wine lovers - the wine is young and this is the start of an exceptional journey of English wine. Even the young 2022 wine is full of subtle character. Incredible.

Really nice lunch at Circa Sandridge Barton the home of Sharpham wine.
You can have a wine tour / tasting and then enjoy lunch at Circa.
Portions aren’t massive but food was tasty.

Nice quiet little place out of the way of the busy city. The food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection, no complaints there at all.
However the service was a bit slow, they were super apologetic for any delays and promised a drink on the house for the wait but when the bill came I noticed it hadn't been taken off but I didn't feel I should bring it up.
All in all my partner and I had a great anniversary there, would recommend.

Really enjoyed my dinner at Circa 1924. Great staff members, very attentive and polite, always around if you need anything, all in all a very nice experience! I would say that other restaurants/pubs in Exeter definitely have something to learn from the staff here. Will definitely come back again.

My wife and I got married in a registry office before the main event later on. We wanted a good restaurant that could help make a special day for us and the immediate family. The team at this restaurant were patient in helping us with the menu and drinks as we may have been high strung from planning the day. They also went further than asked and planned out an amazing section for us. Could not have asked more for our special day.

Its all about the oysters - Best place we've eaten in Exeter so far. We will go back again. I read a review saying that they've tried to fit as many seats in there as possible but i didn't feel this at all. If I could have one complaint it would be that the seats were a little hard. But overall lovely experience.
