What a gem of a place, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, Good selection of food on the menu, freshly cooked and presented beautifully. Well worth a visit folks.
Nice pub, friendly staff, lovely to sit outside with an excellent pint of Bass and a well filled crab sandwich on real bread!
We came in on Tuesday evening for the last meal of our holiday. Our server was amazing throughout our meal and she made sure that our experience was excellent. Even made sure our dog got some treats! Food was so lovely, fresh and tasty; came out so quick! We ordered 3 fish and chips and a king burger!
Enjoyed a drink and a game of chess after popping in randomly. Good atmosphere, nice warming feel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Didn't eat but the food looked tempting!
A busy Saturday in the town so popped in for food. There is a Specials board so I had fishcake, slaw and chips. My friend had the fish pie. With 2 pints it cost £36. Service was great. Very quick. Food was ok. Not massive portions but hot and freshly cooked.
Great service. Called in after being turned away from a few restaurant that said they had no tables despite a number that were empty. Asked if I could get a table. Not a problem. Ordered my food as o stood at the bar. By the time I sat down my food was ready. Freshly cooked, perfectly. Thank you for the great service.
Perfect little beach side pub. Fantastic food, the fish was amazing and a very large portion too. Plenty of different types of drinks to choose from.
Lovely pub with equally lovely food. Would highly recommend the Steak & Ale pie with mash and veg! Bloody delicious 😋 Maisie, the Manager (no pun intended!) is also lovely, friendly and interacts with her punters. We had a really good night in this pub and stopped off for a drink in the afternoon too. Relaxed atmosphere, and would highly recommend a visit if you're in Devon.
Brilliant time at the Beach Pub. Food is is amazing, and the Shanty Men are superb entertainment. Service comes with a smile too!
Only a quick visit whilst waiting for the water taxi but, based on the experience, we'll definitely be back for a longer time and to sample the food.
A good selection of beers (the Otter Ale was very good), reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff and a clean and modern venue ... everything you could ask for.
Went to this pub for a family meal the menu had plenty of options and the food was delicious! Very friendly staff and and a cracking atmosphere! Will definitely be returning soon
Great place to have a quiet drink. Reasonable prices for drinks,disabled n toilets located on same floor.Dogs are welcome.
