Went here on 24th June to be met with a closed sign and notice stating they had ceased trading. Gutted to say the least, lovely spot with many happy memories of pizza and beer with friends.

Lovely little village cafe, can imagine it's very busy at weekends and bank Holidays when the weather is nice

We visited yesterday for a few drinks and had our lunch here also. The food was lovely and we have both said that we wouldn’t hesitate to go back! The staff were extremely friendly and put us at ease from the second we walked through the door! I am not one to write reviews however I felt that you all deserved to know how much we appreciated your service and will be back shortly 🥰

Great courtyard seating, friendly staff, lovely coffee and fantastic breakfasts (I’d recommend the Spanish omelette) - will be returning regularly!

Had another lovely meal here tonight. Came for breakfast on Easter Sunday, really enjoyed it and have been back three further times this week.
Each time the food, drink and service has been fantastic. Very friendly staff. Will definitely visit on future visits to Peak District.

Always enjoyed the pizzas at the Coolstone. Had a restaurant meal over the weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Excellent choice and quality of 'chef made' food. Great service and lovely surroundings in upstairs room. Will definitely return for a special occasion.

We had a lovely Christmas lunch. Excellent food and service; all very tasty and bursting with flavour. Highly recommended and will return in the future!

We’ve been here twice now and I really like the food and friendliness of the staff. The second time we had a few issues with slower service due to being a busy Sunday and newer staff, but they apologised and it’s not really something to hold against a local business, so I would say the rest of the experience makes up for this. The manager for the day (25th sept) made the visit really enjoyable and relaxed.
The drinks on offer are great, nice and easy parking nearby and other shops to look around. Decent food selection including pizzas and a lovely old building! Please be aware that it IS an old stone property so can feel a bit colder than some pubs and restaurants.
I hope this place keeps getting support and goes from strength to strength!
