This was our first visit to an Aldiss store and we were impressed with the range of items sold and thought the prices were very reasonable on some of the items. There was a free carpark for their customers and a nice café on the first floor which was reached by some steep stairs but there is also a lift if you have mobility problems. I had a lovely pot of tea and a piece of gluten free Cranberry and orange sponge cake that was delicious, both for £4:45. My husband would have liked a skinny latte but they couldn't do that so he had a standard latte (£1:85?) with a piece of Victoria sponge (£2:95) which he said was very good. Toilets can be found on the ground floor.
Lovely store which is deceptively large. It is clean and airy with a wide range of quality furniture and household hardware on display on a single ground floor. Plenty of staff. Upstairs is a large and very busy cafe/restaurant. Scones were gorgeous.
We popped into Aldiss Fakenham for a 'look around' and ended up buying a new dinning room table and chairs.
The in-store experience was excellent, the service was informative, honest, and friendly.
3 days later and we've just taken delivery of the table and chairs, the delivery team were fantastic. Very polite and careful, they assembled the table then tidied up. Most notable was the professionalism of the driver, we live in a cul de sac and most drivers of vans and delivery trucks fail to stick to the road and then drive over the grass verge. Not this driver, he reversed all the way back to the top of the road!
All in all, a quality product, excellent sales service and a great delivery team. Thanks Aldiss.

Nothing special really. Good food. What we paid for a large breakfast. Other place give free coffee.
