BEST CHIP SHOP ON EAST COAST. NOTHING COMES NEAR IT. BIG UP DICKY BEES. Proper old school curry sauce, impeccable fish. N a lovely set of ladies behind counter.

Visiting Filey and wandering past here and a lady passers-by said best in Filey so we gave it a try.OMG not disappointed. Cod,chips and peas absolutely brilliant, really worth a try people 😀

This is reliably the best fish and chip shop in Filey. The food is perfectly cooked. Brown's is a close second but the rest are pretty poor. I've tried all of them.

Take away: Fish and chips are very good though the chips can be a bit hard. If you like good fish & chips in Filey, come here - much better than some of the other places.

Visiting on holiday and was looking for a nice chippy. Cod was really nice and the chips were cooked lovely, gravy and curry sauce really tasty too. Will definitely go back before we go home 😀

We called in at lunchtime today with our adult autistic son. He had googled 'Dicky Bees' and was excited to eat in their café. When we arrived we found that the cafe was closed. The staff saw our sons distress and were kindness itself. They opened a safe place for him to eat his ( rather delicious) food, and totally made our day.
We cannot recommend Dicky Bees enough.

Called here this lunchtime for fish and chips to eat by the sea. Lovely friendly staff. Great deal, Haddock, chips and peas in a box £6.70 each and a sausage for the dogs. It was all fresh out of the fryer and very very good. Would definitely recommend 😊

Best chippy I've tried in Filey over the years. Very consistent with their quality. Haddock is always fresh, full of flavour and tender. The chips are golden and fully edible, unlike some of the other chippies in Filey that have inedible black manky bits, forcing you bin more than you eat.
