My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great service, amazing food full of flavours. High quality food packed with flavour, seasoned to perfection. Presentation of food excellent. We are not vegetarian or vegan but have returned to this restaurant due to the choice and flavours of the good food served. We would recommend this restaurant for a fantastic meal.

We had an amazing experience at Dr. Legumes this evening in their new premised in the center of town. We decided to share some dishes and received such a variety of flavours, colours, smells. Every plate was gorgeous. I really recommend the Bombay potatoes and the beetroot tart. The staff is lovely, knowledgeable about the food/drinks and very welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend!

It's no longer at the address listed on Google maps... You'll now find it across the street from Sweet Rendezvous. The new place is charming albeit small, so it's best to make reservations. The food itself is simple, delicious and packed with flavours. We tried the banana chocolate bread, the breakfast ciabatta, Dr Legume's cooked breakfast and the good mood food plate. All were really tasty and visually stunning. The standout dish for me would be the breakfast ciabatta. Perfectly crisp ciabatta paired with vegan bacon and sausage, can't go wrong with it.

My boyfriend took me here as a surprise for our anniversary so I was really excited when we arrived. We are both vegan and was pleasantly surprised to see such a wide range of vegan dishes! It was hard to choose from the menu as everything sounded delicious, so we decided to get 3 mains to share which was a good idea! We had the tart, the beer battered banana blossom and pea meat dish. We also shared two puddings (again, we couldn’t decide on one) we had the treacle sponge and the beetroot brownie.The presentation and attention to detail was amazing on every single dish. The taste was even better, the best vegan meal we have had so far. Would highly recommend (even if you are not vegan) and we will definitely be coming back! A must try for sure, we will be spreading the word.

The best vegan food we've ever tasted. Tastes even better than it looks. Definitely coming back. It was a bit difficult to find when we first visited as there was an outdoor event going on in the car park, but subsequent visits have been fine. Its located next to the old Folkestone Harbour Station and Harbour Arm. The views back across the bay and along the coast are great. The staff are very friendly and polite. Its not the biggest place to eat, which means its best to book, but it also makes it a fairly calm place to eat too.

The food was utterly delicious. Beautifully presented. Friendly staff. I can personally recommend the sweet miso breaded aubergine, the Rubens pastrami, the BBQ slider and the seasonal greens. These young chefs seriously know how to impart flavour. Understated, utilitarian design inside. Limited seating inside, loads outside if weather is decent and wind isn't too bracing. Seriously, it's an absolute gem and I'd go back tomorrow to try more dishes if I could. Totes amazeballs.

Amazing first experience at Dr Legumes and also first experience at a Vegan restaurant. The food was amazing and the flavours were really good (something that a meat eater never thought possible). The staff made us feel really welcome and squeezed us in at the last minute. Looking forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.
