Called in on the way to visiting family (thank you Google!) Really nice place. Staff were really friendly and we all enjoyed our food.

Just went here for 2 take away coffees but the staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe looked clean and inviting and the food smelt great! Pricing was fair and there were veggie and vegan options also.

Friendly, kind cafe. Great service on the drinks we’re having and very helpful with sorting my young kids out with boosters and CBeebies. A good end to a long morning!

Thank you to the lovely ladies who greeted us with a warm welcome. Food was excellent. !! Best breakfast barmcake I've had in a long time. Will definitely call again if ever back in Formby.

Decided to try Cafe 48 yesterday for breakfast and what a nice surprise. Nicely cooked to our liking and included a drink too. Will definitely return soon.

Friendly welcome to the cafe, great coffee and better choice than just regular breakfast. Salmon and scrambled egg, although the regular breakfast looks just as good.
Parking outside, family friendly with free wi-fi.

Really good cafe, great menu and value for money. Food is served quick and the staff are always welcoming. Only downside is that there's no toilets, however I think it's possible to use the staff facilities if you ask - I haven’t asked, so can't really say if it's possible.
