Parked here by mistake as I shouldve driven just over a mile further on to the Victoria Rd National Trust for the Red Squirrels. Machine was only accepting coins but luckily I could pay the fee by card at the NT Tent opposite. It was a good half an hour walk away via the beach. Going to be honest, I feel it isnt signposted enough with directions for the Red Squirrels but maybe my next car will have inbuilt satnav!

Great place for a walk with the dog, picnic or sun bathing (on a less windy day). Car parking for non members is £7.50 all day, but free for National Trust Members. Would recommend getting here before 12pm if you want a car parking space. Only toilets at this end are portaloos.

Good place to park when having a walk in the area although if you are not a National trust member it currently costs £7. There are toilets but due to location they are portaloos so not the most inviting loos, better than nothing. No café or coffee hut in the vicinity so take a flask. Apparently it gets very busy in summer but we had no issues on a winter's week day. Lovely spot to access the dunes and shoreline.

Fantastic unspoilt beach and dunes and so clean and pretty. Great boardwalk access too! Well done National trust! We come up from the midlands and the grandchildren come down from the north for a great traditional family day out at the seaside with very little to spend money on!! 😀👏👍

Hot and sunny Sunday so as expected, very busy. We found a parking place near the ticket machine - it worked well and read the QR code quickly. Well organised and Rangers patrolling which was reassuring. Great day out and our Ukrainian family can't wait to go again.

Overcast here today but such a great beach and woodlands. Great for walking the dog and relaxing. Loads of parking as the weather is not perfect.

A lovely place to go: there is a forest trail and a trail among the dunes if you choose to walk there. A clean beach where the shoreline is not too far and with lifeguards onsite. The only downside: the £7.50 fixed parking fee.

One of my favourite places to go to get some work/life balance. I love swimming in the sea and always feel safe there. The beach is really well looked after by the wonderful volunteers who sadly have to litter pick after a sunny day. Thats the only downside is those that don't clean up after themselves. Leave footprints and create memories not a leave the place a mess.
