We discovered the Common Room while In Fram for a funeral. Although we only called in for coffee the cheese scones tempted us we weren’t disappointed they were delicious, one of our party said it was the best cup of tea he had ever had in a cafe. Lots of people enjoying breakfast which all looked very tempting. The locals are so lucky to have such an amazing cafe

Have been a few times, and the service and food are always exceptional. Recently had the field mushrooms on sourdough and wow! Better than 99% of restaurant meals I've had in the last 6 months. Always great songs playing on the record player, staff always friendly and happy to help. Great stop for breakfast or lunch, highly recommend.

I come here as a quiet breakfast treat every few months. The staff are always lovely, I can spend ages just looking at the decor or wondering whose record I'm listening to (all music via turntable in cafe), and I know the food will be delicious. Thoroughly recommend the full English, the eggs Benedict, and the amazing pancakes.

Great place. Mixture of retro and quaint interior. Love the vinyl collection being played at a sensitive volume on a turntable. Good coffee, quality ingredients in both drinks and food ( the bacon on my pancakes with bacon and maple syrup was great). Young, friendly, hard working staff (it’s deservedly busy) - good service. A notch above anywhere else in my 2 week trip to the UK

I can't recommend this cafe highly enough! It was busy, but we were warmly greeted immediately on arrival and shown to a table. The person who served us was really lovely and service was excellent. Our veggie breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the cappuccinos were great too. The prices were very reasonable and the food was very high quality. I would definitely return.

Vegan breakfast is very good - huge field mushroom, home made sausage very tasty, deep fried patty of bubble and squeak is big. Extra toast on the side - came away absolutely stuffed. Loved it. Delivery of pots of tea towards the end of the meal (after a reminder) was not great, but overall it's still one of the best places for breakfast in Suffolk

Great find serving good choice of food in a quirky setting. Loved the fact that the music was from their own record collection. May vinyl records live on forever :). Staff were friendly and the toilets clean. Was early lunch when we arrived with plenty of room but soon filled up so bear that in mind. I had the kedgiree which was nice but did lack a bit of seasoning, though was well presented.

Absolutely love this place! By far the best café I've been to in all of Suffolk! The ambiance is chilled and trendy, with a relaxed vibe. The food is effortlessly elegant in its simplicity, you can taste the high quality ingredients in this classically traditional simple menu. The staff is incredible.

Fantastically cool place with amazing food. A local lady walked over the road to tell us how good it was and she wasn't wrong. All day breakfasts to die for. I had kipper and my daughter had eggs royale which looked amazing (she didn't share!) If you are visiting the castle or just framlingham then make sure to pop in. Small and always busy. Vinyl selection whilst you eat is amazing. I ate to some 70s disco tracks... Smooth!

We stumbled on this gem, looking for a snack lunch, after visiting the castle, on a Sunday (shops were closed), and we decided immediately to treat ourselves to their roast beef dinner. It was the best! Lovely meat, super delicious veg choice, including baked cheesy leaks. We had to have a pud too, and plumped for the chocolate tart with bitter orange ice cream -so naughty, but worthwhile!
