The only place I’d go for Sunday lunch in Barnstaple. Great value, great service, brilliant choice and fantastic vegetable cookery. A next level carvery and such good service every time. Thanks to all the team, it’s always good.

We had the Sunday lunch ( Table for 5).
From the moment we walked into the bar, we were well treated.
We all had slightly different choices from the caverery, and we loved them all.
It was such a good meal we have already booked a table for next month.

A delicious "home made" taste Sunday Carvery with the option to choose beef cooked "rare". Food is piping hot. Delicious. At the time of writing review there is limited choice for desserts, but its unlikely you will want one after the carvery!

We treated ourselves to a carvery at the Fox incredible roast dinner, great service and the food tasted wonderful. Great selection of meat and caters to gluten free, thank you 😊

A gorgeous family-owned pub with a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food.
Our carvery was one of the best we've ever enjoyed with flavoursome, tasty ingredients, gigantic proportions of meat, light fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and a sublime variety of vegetables.
The potato dauphinoise is to die for.
