Reasonably priced with welcoming and pleasant staff, had a good feel to the place and nice and clean.
It's a nice cosy cafe, could be anywhere, but upon exit you go out into quaint streets of frome. Generally impressed with efficient service. A range of choices on the menu, with higher and low end prices. But plenty of Practical things to eat if you want just a snack or light lunch such as crumpets with cheese.Also a lovely selection of cakes. The proper lunches tend to be a bit more expensive but like I say, there's a whole repertoire of things to choose from with lower priced food also accessible. A nice dining experience, although gets busy during lunch hours. The only place really of its kind in the town, the typical old fashioned tea shop.
Good service, lovely place. I was a little disappointed that there weren't many alternatives to wheat and dairy . I suffer from intolerance to both and they only had one pre-packed cake as an alternative or soya milk. Other than that it was a really nice place and if you do not have allergies to wheat or dairy then you'll be absolutely fine as there seems to be quite a nice selection available.
Not a large restaurant and very popular so sometimes rather full. Good selection of food, both main course and light meals and some lovely desserts. Good choice of drinks including wine. Would thoroughly recommend but then it will be even more popular!
I love these olde worlde, charming tea rooms! Very friendly staff, loved the cheese scones and crumpets. Good selection of herbal teas. Lovely toilets. Only hiccup was it's so popular it can be ard to get a seat at times.
Lovely food with inspirational arty ideas. Staff friendly and willing to adapt menus if asked. One of my favourite places if I visit Leeds.
Table service very efficient and friendly. Excellent coffee and cake break with a friend. Pleasant atmosphere in a lovely part of Frome town.
The Settle includes a restaurant (upstairs) and a cafe which are completely different. The cafe serves good quality food and drinks but the restaurant is exceptional. It serves food worthy of any top restaurant with an excellent wine list. One of frome's best kept secrets.
Really friendly staff & excellent service. Good selection of food in a traditional cafe. The restaurant upstairs is wonderful. Great meals served in the restaurant upstairs in the evenings.
This place is fantastic and I live visiting with my friend. Had a lovely chicken pie lunch and the kids menu for my son was awesome value.
