A lovely experience every time we go. The last time we went, there was quite a delay with two items of a large overall order. When we chased, the head chef was super apologetic and got the food sorted really quickly. Then, he offered everyone on the table a free hot or cold drink - what a great example of perfect service recovery. This signalled how much the Rye Bakery care about customers and we'll continue to go back regularly. Bravo!

What a great vibe, the place looks amazing and staff is super friendly. Croissants and cakes looked very inviting. I didn’t try any though sadly, I went twice on my holiday first time I opted for shakshuka and I was slightly disappointed, don’t get me wrong, ingredients were superb, its definitely my fussiness around sweet taste as it was a bit too sweet. If you are into eggs in a lot of sweet tomato sauce go for it other wise order what I ordered on my second visit chickpea and courgette pancake with egg on top, which was phenomenal. My friend ordered humus and he said it tasted great and was very well made. Definitely highly recommended.

My wife and I stopped in at Rye Bakery for brunch while in Frome and had a lovely experience. Though we didn’t get to try pizza on their normal “Pizza Fridays,” we enjoyed a slice along with a Mediterranean bowl and sourdough —all excellent. Also had the best decaf americano I’ve had yet while in the UK, which is no easy feat considering that brewing decaf has its own set of variables. Exceptionally kind staff and super cool setting as well!

What a great find! Our first visit to Frome and so delighted to find this exceptional place to eat. Fabulous food, all made in-house and local apple juice. Great, friendly staff. Set in a redundant chapel, so got bags of atmosphere too. Great value for money. Definitely going to visit here again.

Lovely cafe situated in a former church with a mix and match of wooden furniture, old wood floors and the an organ situated on the second level overlooking the seating area. The staff were friendly but it took quite some time before the food arrived. Their menu is small and concise, consisting of a few warm dishes and a few other pastries and breads on display. The shakshouka was delicious: a rich tomato sauce with two poached eggs (slightly overcooked), topped with a drizzle of chili sauce, tahini and caramelized onions. For £10 pounds though, the dish was very small and not filling even for a petite person like myself.

We happened across this awesome, dog friendly bakery whilst traveling across the country. Super friendly staff that helped us select the best vegan options available, which was absolutely delicious. They also happily cooked or pooch a fried egg. What an amazing use of space. Would recommend to everyone ⭐

Stunning location in a stunning town. Strong coffee, and delicious pastries. The financier was top notch and one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Perfect texture and flavour. So pleased we stopped here on our road trip through Somerset.

OMG Can you believe this is a cafe! The space is so lovely and I just loved everything here! We visited Frome during Easter and what an amazing place! Swap to check out every corner of Rye Bakery, they even got a corner for kids to play around! That definitely ease parenting! All of the food / bread were sourced from local and made by themselves. The egg and green on toast we ordered was so good, it also get a bit spicy with the chilli sauce! I also order the cinnamon bun french toast and it was so lovely with cream and almonds too. The coffee were nice to have as well, and comparatively they were more a neutral to fruity blend which I absolutely love it! I did found out Frome’s cafes are more likely to serve fruity blend, love it love it!

We came in for a quick snack on a Sunday afternoon. The space is quite lovely and has a warm vibe. I got the salted chocolate cookie (which was so good that I don’t regret buying more to bring back with me to London) and the veggie sausage roll. I really liked the roll the first time around and so bought a couple more for later, but somehow they didn’t taste as good..
