Bit quiet when we popped in, so no trouble getting a table, though a few were reserved, and no wait for service. Lovely coffee, probably my favourite in Galashiels. Scones were fresh and tasty.

Fabulous. Scones and cakes, home made and also delicious. Everything a treat. Most impressed with the cleanliness. Everything is spotless and staff always clearing away, wiping down work surfaces, tables and always with a smile.

Popped in for coffee. Best coffee I've had for a long time. Staff very welcoming and cleanliness was to a high level. Will definitely be going back and having lunch.

Our second visit yesterday was as good as our first, confirming it to be the place we choose to visit on our infrequent trips to Galashiels. The light lunches were excellent, the cakes looked delicious, but the star of the menu is the coffee. Our search for coffee excellence has been long and often disappointing, but that served in the Coffee Tree is as good as it gets.
It looks unassuming on the outside, but do go in. The welcome is warm and unassuming too!
