One of my best Carvery. Caramelized carrots were absolutely beautiful and I am not fan of them. All the vegies were nice and the meat was very nice also. Staff very friendly. Only one thing.... the table was a bit stiky... 😀
Have been to the Fly Line a few times now. Never anything to complain about and the food is always good. Carveries in general are always a bit hit and miss, and vary on when and where you go, but on my few visits they have been good. Visited on the most recent occasion with my Mum (who suffers from Dementia) and daughter. The carving chef was really patient with my Mum and even saved my plate whilst I helped her out getting lunch and back to the table. Really nice touch thank you 👍. We went for the small carvery and it was more than enough to fill us up 🍖🍖🍖🍖.
Table for 6 booked easy enough online. Didn't have the ale available went for another and was offered to try the alternative before I bought a pint. It was lovely.
Booked food, young lad was lovely and helpful. Food arrived and was delicious as always. Steaks perfectly cooked. Burgers fantastic. Chips are out of this world.

More expensive than Spoons, but much better food quality. Not a lot of beers to choose from. They should look at getting more selection.
It has an outdoor play area for the kids so you can sit outside in the summer and have a few drinks until you don't care if they fall off the pirate ship!
We are frequent visitors, never had a bad Sunday lunch.
Party size 3 to 8. Some tables are a little small, we nearly always need to hunt for salt and pepper. Staff are lovely and very polite. Easy to book, usable website.
First time I have ever been to this pub and was drawn to go with there being a play area outside with the nice weather. The host was lovely on our arrival and helped explain how everything worked, the food didn’t take long to come and every single meal was really good. The Carvery looked really good that the rest of my family ordered so much so that I took my boyfriend back the next day to try it out. Definitely have a new regular and I will recommend this pub to many friends and family, thank you 😊
A really nice meal but my husband chose the steak and ale pie but it was sold out. He settled for a southern fried chicken ultimate burger and it was massive! He has a good appetite but couldn't manage it all. I enjoyed my lasagne meal and our starters were really tasty too. The staff were exceptionally nice, efficient and very friendly.
Absolutely fantastic welcome and carvery was the best ever, compliments to the chef.
The two young men on duty were very kind, caring and polite during our entire visit, they are brilliant assets to your restaurant.
The staff were very polite and helpful, however the portion size from the menu were small, my son came away hungry, the Carvery wasn't as good as it looked meat was dry, some of the carrots were black, and the roast potatoes were tough,mash potatoes could have been better too. Didn't like to complain as it was a treat from a family member.
First time for my daughter and myself today, the atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming, it’s spotless everywhere, we both had the hunters chicken and afters choc fudge cake and both a drink of coke, very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this place we will be back, might give the carvery a try next time 😃 see you soon
