We popped in for lunch and was very happy with our overall experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming the restaurant was clean and well decorated and your surrounded by stores so this place is perfect if you fancy something to eat after some retail therapy.
We all decided to have carvery and were so happy with the food, it tasted amazing and perfectly cooked and the price was excellent for the quality of food you got.
2 of us ordered puddings and they was lovely they tasted amazing and you got a decent portion too for an amazing price.
They also sold cakes to take out which was 2 for £9 which was a bargain cos the cake slices were huge and our kids loved them.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Garforth area 😀

Service was amazing! Julie our waitress was very attentive and nothing was too much to ask, one of our meals was taking a while so she asked to get it out to us quicker. Atmosphere is lovely and very family friendly, food is as standard for pub food but lovely none the less!

One of my best Carvery. Caramelized carrots were absolutely beautiful and I am not fan of them. All the vegies were nice and the meat was very nice also. Staff very friendly. Only one thing.... the table was a bit stiky... 😀

It was my first time at the fly line and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was great value for money as the food was really nice. I also would like to thank the staff who looked after us, and a special thank you to Julie. She made sure our baby was well looked after, providing a high chair and spoons to play with. She even got me a glass of water when she noticed I was breastfeeding. It was so nice and made a nice change to be thought of as a breastfeeding mum.

I had the lasagne with garlic bread and it was lovely, but I could have done a lot more. The rest of my party had the carvery and said that the beef was tough to chew. My husband goes quiet a lot whilst I'm away and reported it has got worse over the recent weeks. The chicken was really tasty. When we mentioned the food the gentleman did offer how to rectify it. I ordered 2 Lemonades and I got Soda. Their pump had run out ( this happens at other restaurants) so not a problem and the gentleman behind the bar brought me replacements.

She was especially engaging with my daughter, keeping her entertained and happy. Booked in advance due to Bank Holiday as know usually busy Sundays and holidays. Wasn’t particularly busy but turned out to be the “First Flyline Festival” so a lot of folk sitting outside. Food (two carveries and one gammon) was good as usual and gammon arrived promptly. Lost one star from review due to total lack of acknowledgement on arrival. Usually someone at the door to check booking/find a table, but no one there yesterday? Maybe a change due to the event on,but wouldn’t have taken much to be acknowledged by bar staff, who could clearly see a queue at the door (it wasn’t just us waiting) and could have let us know to just find our own table? Also we were not be warned when gammon was ready to allow us to get carvery and eat together as we usually are, not a big deal but a nice touch that we appreciate. Thank you

We had a very emotional 1 year old with us due to teething and Julie went above and beyond to make him smile and make us feel welcome. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness. Some places can make you feel uncomfortable having kids with you, but everyone was so lovely.
Service was quick at the bar, drinks lovely and food is always spot on.

Have been to the Fly Line a few times now. Never anything to complain about and the food is always good. Carveries in general are always a bit hit and miss, and vary on when and where you go, but on my few visits they have been good. Visited on the most recent occasion with my Mum (who suffers from Dementia) and daughter. The carving chef was really patient with my Mum and even saved my plate whilst I helped her out getting lunch and back to the table. Really nice touch thank you 👍. We went for the small carvery and it was more than enough to fill us up 🍖🍖🍖🍖.

Our first visit to the fly line , Julie made us very welcome, made sure that our seating area and table were clean and to our liking. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Lovely food, great atmosphere and great service. Will definitely recommend and return with all the family.

It's a fab place to eat. We go there a lot. Reece, Brett, Anthony and Julie all go out of their way to make us feel really welcome. We recently had a small family surprise celebration for my Mums 80th Birthday and Anthony and Reece made it really special and she thoroughly enjoyed it (thank you x). A few Saturday's ago we brought a couple of friends in with us and they remarked how friendly the place was and Julie really made it lovely, chatting for a minute or two and making sure we were well looked after. We often pop in with our dog for a quick refreshment and always get a friendly greeting. We decided to eat here on this occasion and were impressed with the burgers. Our dog gives it a 5 star as he received a few scraps of meat from the carvery. Julie is always very friendly. It was quiet tonight hence the 4 star for atmosphere, but have been here on quiz nights when the atmosphere is good.

Julie is a friendly efficient server, we were warmly greeted by her & it's so lovely to be addressed as "Lady's" instead of "Guys"
Unlike many places, she paused to allow us to answer her question on how everything was with our meals, usually it's a token is all ok? As servers waft past not staying long enough for an answer.
The 30% off offer meant my mum's wine was free. We come to the fly line quite often & it's always nice.

We absolutely love this pub! Our pup has been going since she was 8 weeks old, and gets a chicken breast every time we go. They are amazing with her and super dog friendly - they even have a doggy menu! Amazing atmosphere and amazing staff. Never had bad food or a bad experience! It’s definitely our go to place.
