Myself, partner and father came here and had a lovely dinner, everything was delicious! Great sized portions and reasonably priced. Better than the usual pub grub you'd expect and excellent desserts enjoyed by all! The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, the staff are attentive and it's definetly the place to eat if you ever find yourself in Gargrave.
Delicious steak and very lovely calamari and prawns ,and the cocktail is something special 😋 👌

We were not looking forward to a second consecutive evening of pub food but since most other restaurants were closed on Monday evening we found our way here. We needn't have worried. The menu is definitely not your typical pub fare.
I had the rump of lamb which was beautifully cooked and pink in the middle. It was served with sun-blushed tomatoes which provided the necessary balance with the meat and also new potatoes and shredded cabbage.
I was a little surprised to see large pieces of local bacon which, although working well with the cabbage did rather dominate the flavour of the lamb. Overall I was impressed with the imagination of the dish and the care with which it was cooked.
The 'crushed' new potatoes weren't really crushed and therefore hadn't absorbed much of the cooking juices and the wine was served on top of a bucket of ice not in it.
The service however was very friendly and attentive.
Overall a very enjoyable meal and far better than the 'pub food' of the previous evening.
Stopped here after cycling up from Barnoldswick. Brilliant beer garden and food and drinks were excellent.
The kids' menu is particularly good value. Proper home cooked mains and amazing dessert for £4.50.
Staff very friendly. Could happily have stayed all day.
Sunday lunches can be a lottery but at the Old Swan in Gargrave, Yorkshire you have a winner. Great pub, great atmosphere, great service and, most of all, a great Sunday Lunch. Thank you.
Brilliant pub, stayed here a few times. Fantastic rooms, food superb, Sunday roasts and had an amazing ribeye steak tonight! Best customer service I’ve experienced 😀👍
Had the Korean chicken burger and it was excellent. Most reasonable priced place locally with the quality of food! Car park, service was quick and staff was friendly. Highly recommend.
We stayed in Gargrave for a few days. We went twice for dinner in the Old Swan. Both times ,meals were excellent. Really good table service by Julie, jade and jess.
Rooms are clean and spacious with all the needed amenities. Such a dog friendly environment in the pub, restaurant and hotel, which makes a huge difference to walkers like us who just want to take our pooch away for new sniffs. Brilliant location.
Great live music on the night we stayed, such a better atmosphere than the other pubs we visited in the village.
Beer garden is huge! Main menu food was lovely and I highly recommend the almond & pesto linguine.
Full English was amazing and the vegetarian option was delicious! Big shout-out to the lovely owner, and to Dani for her smiley service.
The service is good at this place. A good steak & chips. A few nice ales & a really nice coffee at the end of the night. Quiz night on a Thursday too.
