What a beautiful spot, hidden gem but unfortunately the service was poor with staff preferring to conduct social conversations instead of serving customers. Little details missing including asking whether ice was wanted or even taking the table number for the food delivery. Really disappointing.
And 15 minute wait for 2 x milkshakes at £5 each!!

Came along by chance, but what a find, beautiful setting near the river, great quality food and service. This is now firmly on our list to return.

Discovered this lovely restaurant whilst driving back from the Lakes, setting is idyllic, food was amazing, staff were great especially young Faye who went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of ( Great Milkshakes Faye 😜 )

Delicious food and lovely setting of this restaurant. The haddock and chips were gorgeous, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the staff were brilliant.

Came to stepping stones for lunch, we ate outside, the setting was beautiful by the river, great service and fab food, will be returning

Stayed at Claydans for the night and went over to Stepping stones for a couple of drinks and food. I had the pan fried chicken and my partner had the gammon, we also has some chicken wings to share with the Korean bbq, sesame and chilli. All food was delicious, could not fault anything. Will definitely be returning to the site and also the bar and restaurant, stepping stones, on site!

Been camping here a few times, great central place to stay for visiting areas like Silverdale, Leighton moss, Garstang and Lancaster, etc. Welcome's kids and dog friendly as well, great pub with conservatory restaurant and great food. Can't fault the place

What a gem ,brilliant service , the view was amazing and the food was lovely and the children loved the river and that slide Eleanor loved it xx

Lovely pub and fabulous food. Turned up a bit late kids and dog in toe, staff were happy and friendly. Food was ordered and arrived promptly all home made stake pie, cheese and onion pie and pizza (good size) all food was cooked well, great portions and tasted fab. Beer cold😊
