Nu To Go

Eating at NU TO GO today. Been there a few times to pick up orders for deliveroo, but it was my first time eating there today. It's a little pricy with my order coming to exactly £14 (Iced Latte with 2 caramel pumps, 2 pizzettas cut in half [one of which is shown] and some roast potatoes), however the staff are lovely and a pleasure to talk to, the kitchen is largely open allowing you to see them work, and the colours of the food, the perceived freshness and the quality of ingredients is excellent. The Iced Latte (to me) is much better than you would get at a starbucks or costa. The roasties were soft, with a delicately balanced flavour that complimented the pizzaettes. The pizzaettes were at a warm edible temperature, with bright colours supplied by the red peppers and spinach. The beef has a nice mild spice and was topped with plenty of the meat. The flatbread it was on was a nice bouncy texture and was baked fully. Overall a nice occasional treat if you're in the gateshead-newcastle area. This isn't sponsored and is very much my own opinion. Would have been a 5 star if it had been slightly cheaper, but it was a great experience overall and very much worthy of the high review score.

Me and the wife popped in for some brunch before we went shopping in Newcastle. A lovely Americano coffee for myself and a milky tea for the wife. Both lovely. Table service was courteous and very friendly. The layout is modern and very trendy. I got Eggs Benedict. The sauce was beautiful, bacon cooked amazingly and the eggs runny and cooked excellently. My wife got an Omelette with a side salad. I had a quick nibble, it tasted fantastic. The salad had a lovely dressing over it and it was cooked superbly. We were offered salt and pepper, and we were giving two large coarse salt and pepper grinders, what a joy. It may seem snobby, but it was a lovely offer and well received. We were asked if our food was fine and obviously, it was excellent! We spent twenty quid. I left full, happy as can be and well watered. This is the new cafe of choice for me, and I hope me and the wife will continue to come here for many years to come. Thank you Nu To Go!

Enjoyed a delicious and generously filled Turkey Wrap before Xmas and brought the family back for early lunch. Hubby and son chose the Eggs Benedict and I opted for the Poached Eggs, Feta and smashed Avocado on sourdough bread. All beautifully presented and absolutely perfect. Eggs cooked perfectly and ripe avocado and a tasty feta! I couldn’t resist having a taste of the Eggs Benedict and the sauce was to die for 😍 Excellent value for money and a real gem in Gateshead.

Came to Newcastle for a short course and had a nice walk from Quay Side and went across to Gateshead and found a nice little gem over the otherside of Newcastle! I had The Tuna Sandwich on Multi Seed Bread (with the vegetable crisps) and the place serves Illy Coffee and voila, the experience was marvellous! I am from Malaysia and will be leaving tomorrow. I might just drop by again before leaving Newcastle with a great memory of NuToGo’s splendid service and delicious sandwich and coffee! The owner, Chloe was extremely friendly as well as the other colleagues.

Nice local cafe/eatery offering fresh and healthy lunch/snack options. The food was delicious, nutritious and reasonably priced. They have a good variety of veggie options. The staff is very friendly and the space itself is very bright, airy and cosy. Check it out for your next takeaway (all their packaging is organic/compostable = good for you AND the planet) or as a lunch spot with your friends/colleagues!

Decided to try out this place after seeing some reasonably priced menu items on deliveroo and It was certainly the BEST decision I made. Their pan fried salmon was cooked to perfection (even after a 20 min delivery), and the sliced chilies on the avocado toast made a hell of a difference, as opposed to regular ol chilli flakes. You folks really know how to whip up some top notch food. Keep it up! P.s. kudos to one of your staff members who made an effort to call and check if I was on a dairy-free diet before preparing the dishes - really thoughtful :)
