The food is really good here and quite reasonably priced. The chips are amazing!!! The only thing I’m not keen on is having to go to the bar to get your drinks. The bar is always really busy. Most restaurants take drinks orders. The music can be a little too loud, but to be fair, the staff are very friendly and happy to turn it down. The staff are really lovely.

Excellent hotel, rooms basic but excellent accommodation. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent and plentiful. Sadly, I wasn't able to eat it all! Stunning location close to the Angel of the North! Good bus service into Newcastle and Gateshead! Well worth a visit!!

I haven't stayed here personally but ate in the restaurant with my father during his stay.
The food was really delicious and good size portion! Great value too!
My father said that the rooms were a good size and well looked after. This place is a great value for money with nice rooms and excellent restaurant/bar below. Definitely worth a stay!

This hotel was on point!
The staff from start to finish where amazing totally made the stay but the accommodation wasn’t to bad either, even though the rooms are basic, there clean and have all you need to enjoy your stay. 5 ***** Angel View & see you next time

Had the pleasure of having my wedding here,from beginning to end absolutely great,nothing too much an effort,yes the rooms although very comfortable could do with an upgrade but does not detract from the amazing staff & atmosphere created.Thank you all

2nd time we have stayed and absolutely loved it. Great location. Staff are more helpful and friendly than anywhere I have stayed before. No need to look around, and the food is top notch. Will certainly be back again.

We've been to the angel view inn a lot of times just for food mostly, my best friend got married there last year, and we had a bottomless brunch surprise for my mam's 60th on Saturday (12/08/23) and I could not recommend a better place, the staff were outstanding they could not of done enough, drink choices were brilliant! And the food was a 10/10. Everyone had a great day! Thank you so much to all the staff you helped me make my mam's day so special. Can't wait for our next event to book the Angel again! Might even go for our Sunday lunch today!

We upgraded to a larger room and it was worth it. Quirky hotel with a good restaurant and bar. Great location for transport links and free taxi phone in the bar.
Plenty free parking in a well lit car park.
