Genuinely one of the nicest places to eat that I've been in a while. We came here instead of ASK Italian to shake it up a little as the menu felt less generic. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! The service was lovely, we felt genuinely looked after, and the food was incredible. Perfect portion sizes and wonderfully tasty. I will be returning to Doppio Malto very soon. Absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend!

The Doppio Malto staff were amazing! Went to dine in with a reservation on Sunday, however the their tills weren't running which meant they couldn't pass KOT's to the kitchen or even generate bills. Instead of turning us away, they were great enough to seat us and even comped our meal (because we reserved our table way in advance). The food was amazing and the pizzas are baked fresh with amazing flavour!
I highly recommend Doppio Malto for the fresh pints, food and quality of service from the staff!

Restaurant was a bit busy, but we were seated relatively quickly after a quick table clean.
Food prices weren't too badly priced, but drink prices were quite expensive.
£9 for a 250ml glass of rose wine is more of a price that you'd pay for a large.
Food was OK, strange tasting pasta with an odd texture as mentioned by a couple of our party members.

Paccheri - cooked to the perfect doneness. Tomato sauce had great flavour, would revisit just to eat this dish again.
Pork ribs - tender, fall off the bone, sauces were alright, potato was not the best, but overall still a great dish.

We didn't plan ahead, we just walked in and were sat down immediately. Service was unquestionable throughout. Beer was from a plentiful selection and the two we ordered between us were awesome. The food arrived promptly and the steak was cooked as ordered. It was fantastic. The staff clearly work great together and the place is run very well. Well done to all of you. A great addition to the MetroCentre...we will be back very soon. 👍🏻👏👏

This was our first time here and I'm really surprised at the bad reviews. The service was fantastic, good range of vegetarian options and cooked my very fussy daughter's pizza to perfection. Was really reasonably priced too.
