Just visited tonight for the first time. Had a large cod. The fish was well cooked with nice crispy batter and the flesh was white and moist. Tasted delicious. It was also beautifully wrapped by the friendly member of staff who served me. Will definitely return. A fabulous traditional chippy that does it properly. Worth a visit 👍

Good fishy, fried to order so nice n hot. Good batter on the fish which were a good size despite the current cost of living drama!
Prices weren't too bad either.
Was busy, but that's what you want to see in the fact that people are coming from all over to buy from there.

Travelled Thursday night up from Manchester called at shop near closing time. The mince pie and chips were delicious. Lovely friendly staff.

Was looking for a nice fish and chip shop in Gateshead and this one had good reviews so thought we'd try it out.
Had fish, chips, battered sausage and mushy peas and was delicious. Not as greasy as most fish and chips shops. Fish was lovely, sausage was lush, really good peas and the chips were just right. Nice and crispy and not soggy at all.

The quality of the fish and chips is consistently excellent. You can also get two sizes of fish and chips which is great. You get a lot for your money and they are simply one of the best😎

First time ordering tonight. Ordered two fish and chips, by far the best fish and chips take away I've ever had. Very fresh, arrived boiling hot, fish was lush! Batter crispy. Will hands down be back again. Keep up the good work :-D
