Hidden in plain sight. Spur of the moment visit…….what a great choice. Amazing food, didn’t want it to end. I’ve had scotch eggs many times but never as good as this, just amazing and the cheeseburger was equally as good. Sounds like simple dishes but don’t be put off by it. They would never disappoint.

Food was delicious, service excellent if you don’t mind a bit of a wait, atmosphere and surroundings very good. The only thing in terms of value for money, most dishes were slightly expensive for what you got and was shocked at the price of the steak, not helped by the lack of transparency as menu only showed ‘market price’ but certainly wouldn’t order that again. Expected it to be a bit higher than the other main courses (and they were quite pricey). The steak was nearly £30 more than those!) Although delicious I’ve never paid anywhere near that much for a steak.

Amazing service, servers were attentive and very friendly. The food was cooked to perfection! We ordered the Sunday dinner (beef) and the sticky toffee pudding. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and the restaurant is presented very well. Everything is also very clean including the toilets. There is nothing to fault, will definitely be returning 😊
