Went in for the first time for dinner, the food was amazing, very quick service and the staff were pretty friendly. The prices were great for what we were given, and the portion sizes were huge. We ordered carbonara, lobster ravioli, and 2 frozen strawberry daiquiris, which tasted amazing. We didn't have a desert, but they all looked amazing. Every single one is freshly made by the chef.

Good value with nice food and excellent service. Nice atmosphere, slightly cramped but still ok. Portions are large and food quality is decent. Would recommend!

Italian Restaurant - pizza, pasta. Seemed quite authentic to us ; like it's run by a multi-generation Italian family. There are several floors and steep stairs. I thought the food was very good at lunchtime.

We went for our daughters graduation meal we had our very fussy 5 year old & baby sister . Our 5 year old gave the pizza 12000 out of 10. Now any where we go it's normally a 1Start she gives so this speaks wonders. The staff were fantastic with both adults & the girls. We shall definitely come again when down Glasgow & have recommended for others xxx

Have come here every time I've been through Glasgow to go hiking, exclusively for that wonderful dish that is breakfast. £12 (ish) and you'll be greeted with orange juice, tea, and an absolutely fantastic selection of delicious breakfast treats from Lorne and Black Pudding, to some esoteric fried potato scone topped with beans- I don't know what that thing is full of beans, but whatever it is, it's without a doubt delicious. Honestly you can't beat it- it's magical. Definitely come here if you have a train to catch and want a quick feast- you won't be disappointed. My only regret is my fear to ask for more than one breakfast- I'd feel a bit shameful for my weight though if I started buying more than one when I pass through.

I came here to have breakfast and loved the food. We came here after walking a lot to find a place to get some classy breakfast, and it was definitely worth it. The waiters were very friendly and the food arrived pretty quickly. Next time I will be here to get some nice lunch or dinner.

Authentic Italian vibes with the flags and cakes in glass tins. Downstairs and first floor seating. Loved the appetisers and main course dishes. Reasonable pricing. It has a dumbwaiter lift which was interesting to watch as the dishes came from upper floor and there would a loud tring sound! Not a 5-star because - As soon as we were seated, the waitress came to take our drinks order and when we said we require 2 mins, she came in again twice and we had to explicitly state we need more time to order. There were plenty empty tables, so didn’t understand the need for the rush. - The Tiramisu (which I would expect to be impeccable since it is an Italian restaurant) had too much whipped cream/foam and we couldn’t taste any biscuity parts.

Manager was very kind in accommodating us just half n hour before closing time! All very reasonably priced for a central location, the sharing half n half dish was superb for me and my girlfriend. We even managed to squeeze some brilliant desserts in can’t recommend this place enough for a genuine, authentic high quality Italian meal in the heart of Glasgow

La vita is a phenomenal little restaurant, great menu, fantastic food/drink and its such a relaxing place. One thing i thought was lacking was the service, took a while to be served, never received drinks and it took a while to get the bill. • Judging on how highly this place is reviewed we probably caught them on an off day. will be back ✅
