Went here when on business in Glasgow as I was told it was the best Chinese restaurant around. To be fair I've not tried others in Glasgow but this was excellent. The restaurant is very modern and stylish, the service spot on and the choice of food amazing. I'll definitely be going back to try some more dishes as I was spoiled for choice.
Good but not the HO WONG. My parents use to take me here, so it has a bit of nostalgia for me.
Good food but nothing to shout home about.
All in all had a decent family meal but probably won't be back anytime soon.

Absolutely top notch. The food and service was unreal. Can't recommend their salt and chilli cauliflower starter and char sui main enough! Fantastic!
First time visit to Amber Regent and well worth it. We had not booked but received a lovely welcome at the door as soon as we went in and were swiftly taken to our table. Surroundings were very nice and comfortable and the staff were very polite and attentive. Food was very tasty and enjoyable and portions were great. Will definitely be back! Amber Regent - recommended 👍🏻
Was here with a group from work tonight. Delicious food. Reasonably priced and really good service. If I was being picky I would say that the decor could do with a bit of freshening up but I would still recommend coming here.

Starter was all sorts of goodies. Shared chicken satay - not my personal fav but pal loved it.
Really good food, service was good - they kept forgetting things - we were one of the first tables in.
Ambience was really nice too. Every one was welcoming.
I've been coming to this restaurant for over 30yrs, and the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent, I've seen some negative comments about the Amber Regent, but for me it's still a quality place. One downside I would say is no accessibility for disabled, and my mobility is not easy getting to the downstairs toilet.
Beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Glasgow city center.
I walked in without a booking and was seated immediately in a slightly smaller room even though the larger room was pretty full.
The service was excellent. Attentive but not fussing....friendly but professional.
The vegetables for both my soup and main course were super fresh and the food was delicious, lovingly prepared and presented.
Very reasonable prices for the location also.
The decor and surroundings are very tasteful and the bathrooms are large and clean too.
Well done Amber Regent....I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for lovers of Chinese cuisine.

Great food, speedy and friendly service and lovely ambience inside. Prices are a little high but discount on weekdays which we weren't expecting so a nice surprise.
