First time trying Lebanese food and I was blown away! The server was so helpful and accommodating, the food was delicious and we were even given a free dessert! Would highly recommended!
Passionate welcoming family food. Myself and my wife went today, and for the first time in a long time I'm writing a review as soon as I get home. We went with a wowcher and to be honest I didn't expect too much, but as soon as we entered we were made to feel very welcome by the owners son, who is curtious and knowledgeable about his native Lebanese cuisine, and even provided us a brief history of Byblos.
We had two starters and two mains which were cooked very well, and presented well, we were even able to sample some desert, and as they are so nice we purchased some.
I will return one day very soon
Thanks
Paul
Fantastic. We were there today for a family celebration and had a fantastic meze meal. The family were so accomodating and kind. The food was very tasty and plentiful. | will go back any time we are in the area.
Fantastic dining experience. I popped into Byblos cafe yesterday for a bite to eat - and I have to say that the food was exceptional. I would certainly recommend the 'Soujouk Shawarma' - which was the first time I had tried it and almost definitely wont be the last ! As for the rest of the things I had - they were also very nice (they included Fatoush and Tabouleh salad as well as a Kofta shawarma).
The people who run the shop - the Bilan' family - are very warm and hospitable people.
As for the shop, very clean and a lovely decor!
Ill definitely be back again.
Overall 5*
Repeat Offender. I have visited twice on my own having found a reason to wander past, and once with a group of friends. Fantastic food and amazing family that run it.
I never had Kunefe like this before, but I like it! Cheese they use, apparently it is imported from France, is salty instead of more neutral Mozzarella which has added quite interesting notes to the taste. Maybe only the shape of the piece could've been a bit better though?
On the 14th of this month, I was cordially invited by my mentor and guardian; Dr. Mrs. Mridula Chakraborty- secretary of Association of Indian organisations- who I call aunty with love. We were joined by another guest too. This was a short official meet that turned out to be a very nice celebration/get-together before Christmas. Without further ado, let's take a dive into the food section now.
This cafe is a very cozy place located in Park road right next to the awesome bakery outlet called "Broken clock". Byblos is a Lebanese cafe and I must say it's already penned down on my repeat visit list. We had so many items that I can't even begin to recall their names. However, I can write an essay on the taste. Awesome would be an understatement. The food was simply beyond good and services were outstanding. Really hospitable hosts attending to each and every little request of their customers. We had two full portions of kebab platters that came with mixed kebabs, rice, bread, salad and fries. We had a very special salad called Tabbouleh. I had one portion of falafel that came with sides. We had some food packed as takeaway. In addition to this, we had ordered some tea, hot chocolate, nice creamy latte and soft drinks.
Guys please check out this awesome place and I am sure you will not regret it. Such a wonderful place that I cannot praise enough. It deserves a 5-star and even more. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sat inside as it was so hot outside. Being Glaswegian I was on the verge of catching fire. The owner(?) was very welcoming, took the time to talk with us and, before I ordered, recommended the kofta which was just freshly made. Got the kofta wrap which was easily in the top 3 best wraps I've ever had. Wifey got the falafel which she loved too! Had my eye on the chicken shawarma so will 100% be back to try that. 2 wraps, 2 soft drinks and a seat for £17. If in the area, you HAVE to try it.

Came in around 2pm for a relaxed late lunch. Just us sitting in so we had a bit more chat than I guess you usually get. Explaining the menu and how to cook it was great.
The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Subtle flavour rather than someone punching my senses. Would recommend and might try the delivery.
popped in for lunch on a saturday afternoon, quiet and cute, staff are so friendly. Food is absolutely amazing, so fresh! i have never tasted hummus like this, definitely worth a try:)
Absolutely amazing! The place is small but the owner is very humble and the food is delicious.
Got an extremely tasty falafel wrap as u walked by. Guy told me it would be good and he didn't dissapoint. Would eat again, in bout an hour
The most deliciously authentic food from the shawarma to the homemade garlic sauce to the freshly baked baklava.. Could not recommend somewhere more for proper authentic lebanese food. Very fairly priced and easily accessible too!
Food was great! Baclava delicious! But it's not just about food. Owners are lovely. I had nice conversations with this lady about culture, history and food of course. It is a family restaurant that you stop by to eat delicious home-made food and chat with your neighbor. I have to go back there to try okra stew and Lebanon cheesecake.
Humble cafe with some of the best tasting food I've ever tried in Glasgow. Great for vegans too!
The staff are extremely nice, adding a personal touch to your experience, but not intrusive.
Highly recommend!
