I like what they've done with the place which used to be Bread and Butter and was quite run down. Now it's lively and nice, with high tables and stools, other lower tables, big bar, some tables outside too. Good cocktails! They have a wide range of beers and some cocktails on tap for only 7.50 which is great, including an Espresso Martini, very tasty. Live music on a Friday night was a bit too loud for us.
It was an alright bar, I liked that it was hidden away and not on one of the main streets. The staff were nice and service didn't take too long even when the place was full. The singer who was playing was very good but a little too loud and it was difficult to hear people speak. The bar had a wide selection of drinks but after having 3 of the same they ran out of what I was drink, I would expect them to have a larger storage of the drinks so they didn't run out. One down side was I could only book the table for 2 hours so by the time I was just getting comfy, I was asked to leave to make space for the next party. I would go back.
Great venue, lots of drinks to choose from. Highly recommend as a good place to start your night out in Glasgow. I would advise you to book in advance as it does get busy.
