Amazing venue for up and coming artists!
Always a great crowd of people and always a great night!
Drink prices are reasonable. Queue at the bar is really quick!
The actual venue is quite small and it can get quite busy but it's definitely worth it! The sound is fantastic.
Went to see Corella a few weeks ago and they were 👌🏼
Looking forward to the next visit next week to see Krooked Kings 😍

Tonight's gig was 5 piece Pastel's sell out tour at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. Signed to Manchester Independent label Spirit of Spike Island.
Pastel have that early Indie / Brit Pop sound, very Stone Roses-esque. Good gig, very lively crowd.
Looking forward to hearing more.

I've been coming to Tut's since 1994, and have actually played it twice I'm happy to say.
My most recent visit was to see my friends boys band (Quaint), and we had a pretty good time.
Rhe mecca for most up and coming bands, Tut's still holds a level of mystique, but I'd imagine more for an artist than a punter.
I thought the sound on the night wasn't at all great, unfortunately. And I actually motioned to the sound engineer to "turn him up" when the bands lead guitar solo wasn't heard.
Ps we didn't have any food.
Tickets were £11 (Inc booking fee), with the cost of a beer roughly around the £5 mark.

Awesome music venue, lovely friendly bar staff every time I've visited and an intimate but energetic size for gigs. Last visit for drinks and a gig the air con was also on top form, thank you! Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Fair warning that it's not accessible due to stairs down to bar then up to the gig area.

I cannot recommend this place more. Absolutely amazing musical venue with lots of cool history. The staff are some of the nicest people we have met in Scotland. Do not miss it.

Great venue. Got to grab drinks in the bar before doors opened. Found a perfect to sit right at the back behind the sound desk. A great gig.

Great venue and atmosphere. SYML were amazing as was OSKA who was the support act. The crowd was friendly and engaged well with the performers. A great location right in the middle of Glasgow.

Iconic, intimate basement venue with a rich history in promoting new talent. One of the few places to see a band now and not spend an absolute fortune. I was lucky to witness the talents of Sam Ness and it was incredible. Bar prices are on the steep side and it doesn’t have step free access but inside its cosy and filled with fantastic old mementos of bands that have graced its stage: oasis, biffy clyro, you me at six, libertines etc Best music venue in Glasgow? It’s a strong contender for sure. Only the Barras can compete with the King

King Tuts is well known as a great venue that has hosted many bands who have gone on to stardom. We were staying in Glasgow for a few days and as there was a band playing that we fancied seeing we decide to go to a gig. There's a good atmosphere and a good layout to this small club and we thoroughly enjoyed the night. Brilliant that live music can be enjoyed in such venues as King Tuts.

We came for the first time mid-February 2023 to see The Dollyrots & Don't Panic supported by The Royals.
Venue is pretty close to the M8 motorway & parking, with plenty public transport links nearby.
House pizza is superb, sold by the slice. Recommend one slice for a snack, two for closer to a meal. House lager is made by Brewgooder and is DIVINE. Bar music is pop/punk & punk/rock. Would be a good place for a couple beers both during the week and at the weekend.
Although it wasn't needed as we were there for opening, reserving a table at the bar for drinks & food was so easy to do via email.
Venue upstairs is intimate, but plenty room with a small cloakroom behind the bar and space for merch.
There's a small range of seating in the upstairs venue, with accessibility seating available upon request - This is on a raised platform so you can see over the standing crowd. Earplugs are also available at the bar.
Absolutely would go again, was able to meet the bands, natter away with them and made it out with our merch, one of The Dollyrots set lists and various plectrums from the performing bands. A fantastic night.
