Aroma Indian Restaurant

Well presented restaurant that has clearly had some thought go into the decorations. We were seated quickly and offered a drink in a usual amount of time. The wait to then get our food order in was a little longer than necessary, our server offered us advise on how much to order and he was definitely right. Poppadoms and the sides were lovely - poppadoms are larger than other Indian restaurants. We had the Onion Bhajis and Garlic Prawns to start - both lovely crispy dishes with the prawns being a real stand out. It took a bit of time for our plates to be cleared but our food came shortly after that. We had the Kohzi Chittinadu which was flavoursome but the chicken was definitely over cooked. Rice and Naans were tasty.

The food was ok. We ordered pulav rice, lemon rice and plain rice with vendakka Kara saram. The food was reasonably tasty. We didn't have raise since we reached glocested. They also served papadoms with some mint chutney and achan. Overall it's was ok and if you miss indian food you can come here and have.

Very good at food. I ordered a madras because I no longer had a madras; they provided me with one along with some thoughtful rice. The food was put on the table (in bowls!) and my chair worked. All the bowls were round. I felt full afterwards but I didn't want to cause any trouble so I looked away as I left, concealing no smile.
