Ordered a delivery through just eat. Just eat cancelled the order for some reason whilst still giving five guys the money. I called the restaurant and they told me it’s still an active order on the system and the food is ready just waiting for a driver. Five guys then called me back saying the driver had not shown. I drove down to the restaurant to receive my food and was not only greeted kindly, was told that I would have to wait just 2 more minutes as they have re-cooked my order as an apology.
This is the best customer service I have received within the food industry. Not only did they call me when the driver hadn’t shown, they gave me fresh food as an apology, even though they didn’t have anything to apologise for. (Other places would’ve given somebody the order that’s been sat for a while).
When I got home the food was delicious.
Customer service like this goes a million miles and is very rare to find.
Thanks again to all of the staff there especially the person I spoke to on the phone.

We had our very first visit to any Five Guys anywhere today and thoroughly enjoyed it. As ever, I was overwhelmed by the menu (this is any menu, not just Five Guys...their menu is straightforward) so opted for a 'all in' cheeseburger, regular fries and a water.
Our bag arrived with piping hot contents, 1.5 tonnes of fries and everything was really well packaged. There was plenty of serviettes (which was good as they're essential) and vinegar and tomato sauce are available. Everything was excellent, fresh and really delicious. I was pleasantly surprised! Definitely lived up to the hype.
Everyone there was cleaning everything in sight for the duration of our visit and I was pleased to see the Manager speak to a member of staff who, although cleaning vigorously, was scraping the chairs across the floor which gave the venue a school canteen feel. However, he noticed this spoke to him and it was soon rectified - thanks for this, it was getting annoying 😂.
I didn't use the facilities however, they are disability friendly.
There is a clear queuing system to order and extremely attentive and well-trained (and patient with people who are new and indecisive) staff.

I eat the vegetarian option about 90% of the time. So when it's time for a burger it's GOT o be GOOD. And Five Guys is my new favourite for a great burger. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and those burgers are delicious!
Our friends suggested stopping off here on our way home from Green Man. I had assumed that Five Guys was just another generic burger franchise.
It’s not. They’ve got their own un-fussy decor, very simple menu, very generous portions, and very helpful and friendly staff.
If you want a delicious, dirty, American style hamburger with all the toppings you like, and a tonne of fries, and a bottomless soft drink or a thick indulgent milkshake, this is the place.
NB no veggie burgers here!
The first time and the last time. Very enjoyable I had bacon and cheese burger 🍔 with fries and the wife had an ordinary cheese burger 🍔 you just don't get 1 burger you get 2 burgers on the both of them and the fries their were loads of them which were lovely and hot compared to McDonald's. In fact we could not eat all the chips because their were so many of them so a lot was wasted. Also we both had a milk shake. But it was pretty expensive both milk shakes alone were £5.65 each and the total amount for the meals came to £42.40 . So me and the wife won't be going their again. But very enjoyable.
My first visit to a 'Five Guys' and it was amazing! 🤩 Friendly and fast service, possibly the BEST burger I've ever had and definitely be going again. 5 stars for five guys ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Five Guys make the perfect burgers. You will not change my mind.
The portions of fries are generous. Small fries plenty for 2.
If you like burgers you can't go wrong with Five Guys. We had good friendly service, the food was cooked fast and the cheeseburger and fries went down a treat,as did the milk shake.
I went with my family and fast served options being super hungry was win win in Five Guys. Their fries and milk shake was mind blowing... Don't forget their free Monday nuts
We had burgers, fries, refillable drinks and shakes. We really enjoyed them and the staff were really friendly. The only issue we had was that it is pretty overpriced for what is essentially fast food in a fast food restaurant. We ate in and it was still served in a paper bag, with the fries floating around loose in there. Because of the cost, we probably won't go back.
In response to the comment made, having fries loose in a paper bag and indeed serving indoor food in a paper bag in the first place just seems like a lack of care for your product. The food is indeed very tasty, but I could eat in a nice pub or a restaurant for the same price and be in a much nicer environment without my food having been chucked into a bag. To each his own I guess 🤷
