It was our first visit and it was out of the blue. We fancied a change from our usual venue. On first entering the building we were impressed with the decor and layout. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was late afternoon so we chose our meal from the lunchtime menu. Not being very adventurous people when it comes to food we opted for the chicken Kiev. What a great choice it turned out to be. It was cooked to perfection. It was made with actual chicken and not reconstituted meat like many places serve. It was served with French Peas which was a dish new to us. I could go on and on but don't take my word for it go there and treat yourself.
Well what can I say first visit well impressed would recommend this to anyone who fancy change from the normal pubs .
I personally had steak and cooked to perfection .
What can I say to you in desert myself and friend had the shared pudding it spot on Carmel ice cream and profiteroles and creme brûlée ans chocolate cheeses cake . But complement to the person who make the fudge that was also on the platter .
Best fudge I tasted in long time thank you for putting some in bag for me to take home .
You should sell this in the shop excellent . Myself and two friend give you the five stars 😄
We found ourselves in the area with nothing booked anywhere, rang through to Peppered Pig and they fitted us in at short notice on a Saturday night which was very much appreciated.
Food was delightful and the staff really friendly. Lots of choices on the dessert menu and the dessert specials, so much so we had 1 to eat now and 1 to take home for tomorrow. Lovely place. Will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the vicinity
Only stopped here for breakfast. Really nice quality ingredients, but for some of the dishes there needs to be more of them. E.g. the poached eggs and avocado on toast serving is quite small for the price of £10. Only 1 slice of toast and 1 egg. I would definitely eat here again though! They do really nice coffees too 😊
Food was good but it has been better, I have been here a few times, but my last visit just wasn’t as good as I remember. I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but I feel some of the portions and plates were a bit small/bare. I think the duck would benefit from being served with something rather than just on its own for example. But maybe that was just the dishes I personally ordered.
Everything was amazing, service from the owner, bar waiter's, waitress, the loverly ladies that clean the rooms and the food was simple perfect and served hot. Breakfast freshly cooked & all local produce, was scrumptious 😋

Only had lunch here. Nice place food was very nice, service was pleasant. The only negative was that the tables were very sticky , we sat at two different tables and both my napkin and clothes got kept sticking to the table. Even my husband commented on it and he isn’t one to easily complain about a bit of dirt. Other than that a nice place. Pork roast was yummy
The place is lovely the food is amazing. However the service was slow the staff was moody.

Perhaps the best gammon ive ever had the fortune of tasting, this idealic restraunt boasts surperb views and amazing service, you really can't go wrong. Excellent choice for a family event or wedding also
Been for evening meal today. Corned beef hash starter, garlic prawn starter, 2 x chicken Kiev, 1 x haddock, chips and peas. 1 x meringue and 1 x banana bread.
All outstanding. Cannot fault anything. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff, great service.

Had our wedding here so we experienced everything they have to offer ie rooms, breakfast, restaurant and service. Excellent across the board, and cannot fault anything. The staff were friendly and very attentive, food was first class and rooms were lovely. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Debbie went above and beyond.
