A popular restaurant on Gosforth High street for good reason - proper Italian food and lovely setting with good service. The sauces are full of lovely complex mixes of flavours and the pasta is perfect. Recommend the starter and main deal too

Had a nice little dinner date tonight with my kids. Chloe, Aishi and Louisa were top notch on the service. Complements to the chef for my chicken Milanese and for the kiddos pizza. Ice cream was good too!

Fabulous meal this evening. Best monkfish I've ever had. Gorgeous sticky toffe pudding and superb fresh starter zucchini and mozzarella salad

I have been working away for a few weeks and trying to sample some local eats with high reviews on Google. I opted for this place as I like the nature of Italian cooking and is described as family run which is a little more endearing than chains. I had calamari and then a black squid ink spaghetti with langoustine ("hope I spelt that right) and cherry tomatoes. Everything was lovely, can't fault the cooking. The service was great too, very approachable and chatty. All smiles and all the other customers seemed to be having a wonderful time.

Old school Italian, very few frills but decent quality at a reasonable price. Interesting building, and lovely, healthy real plants everywhere. I'd go here just for the plants, I am so sick of plastic plants in plastic venues!
