Still great place. 32yr later and enjoyed. Great food. Ploughmans, whitebait dish, chicken salad very nice. Cider very tasty. Great staff.

Had a very brief stop with a few friends on our Motorcycles. Time enough for a drink and rest stop. We were made to feel very welcome and they have the cleanest toilets I have seen in any place.

Eaten here many times never been disapointed.
Recently we had the bbq ribs and peacock steak burger, absolutely delicious.
Cant wait to have them again.

Visited this pub as was in the area looking for a pub lunch after spending time @ Scotney Castle, & was very pleasantly surprised as the food was excellent (& very hot!), & so was the service. Very friendly staff. Recommend the crispy chicken strips starter & ribs for main course. Price of a meal for 2 was very reasonable. Plenty of room to park in the car park. Will definitely return to try the Sunday roast!

What a hidden gem of a pub, mid week and it was packed full of nice people, kids were all happy and the beer was good. Food was being served that is all good traditional english. Cant fault it really. Even the car park is a descent size which is often an issue for many pubs. Overall a really nice place, ideally though you need a designated driver as its a little out of the way.

Wasn't serving food due to a refurb when we visited, but the atmosphere was good. It's a Shepherd Neame. They have Singha on tap which is quite a tasty beverage. Nice garden, been here with the kids before. Will return soon as the kitchen should be open now.
