Lovely place to stay. Great for dog lovers. I stayed in a lodge which was great for my dog because there was no chance of him straying. Each of the lodges are fitted with a gate so I could get on with things without the worry of him wandering off out of sight. Food at the hotel is reasonably priced and enjoyable.A lovely, peaceful break away.Highly recommended.Nice pub onsite.Good prices.Very close to Kendal,Bowness.Heavenly.Staff very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely love this place.Beautiful, quiet, but very close to Grange,Kendal,Bowness etc.Staff welcoming and helpful.Stayed in one of the older Lodges, which we love.Cant wait to come back when the weather warms up.Come here at least twice a year. The owner also deserves a mention...friendly,accomodating and an absolute gentleman.Cant recommend this little gem of place enough.I must also add, great dog friendly place offering dog friendly Lodges. This lovely place also has a pub and restaurant offering great food and drink at very reasonable prices. Its beautiful, relaxing and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, friendly getaway.

Very welcoming staff who accommodate your needs, we had a lovely stay it was really peaceful and Liam (hotel manager ) was really helpful and approachable with a very friendly manner. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view. The restaurant served excellent food and the breakfast was delicious and ample. We struggled to find the 3 acre woodland but the surroundings were very peaceful and picturesque. Very welcoming to our dog who also enjoyed his stay. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to relax in a calm and relaxing dog friendly area. Thankyou to all the staff for a lovely minibreak .

Stayed for a local funeral. Evening meal not the best, a bit overcooked. Breakfast was sensational and the wake buffet was great. Service over all was brilliant.

Very hilly round about and along a very narrow lane. Lots of woodland walks but bumpy terrain. Would not recommend for the elderly.

Decided to book for a special meal on a Sunday evening and discovered not much choice on the peninsula for that day of the week. Having not been here for a meal for over 10 years we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely surroundings and decor with relaxing atmosphere. Food was well presented and very tasty. Staff were very attentive too. 👍🏼

Lovely hotel food fantastic and the staff very friendly and clearly want to deliver a five star service couldn't do enough for you important to us they were brilliant with our dog. It was very warm in the room but they gave us a fan which helped. Would definitely go back.
