Fab place!! Lovely food at great prices!! All came out served hot and fresh!! Customer service was amazing going above and beyond and even got a cheeky extra desert as it was the end of the day and didn’t want to throw out!! Would 110% be returning!! The lovely Joe (Owner) is always lovely to children when ever I have been in giving them a little sweetie when leaving!! Thank you for a great evening!!
Came today food was fab and I managed to finally see the boys plaque really lovely for them both xx will Defo be coming again , also was great for my mother in law lots of space for the wheelchair and a fantastic disabled toilet space some are redicoulous and can’t even get a wheelchair in yours was brill thankyou again for great food and atmosphere
Beautiful pub, great food and really good value. Came with the dog who was welcomed with a bowl of water and teenage boys who devoured their meals. Service was a bit slow as we did have to wait quite a while for the food. But overall very good.
What a lovely place, clearly the new manager is working hard to make this a nice dog friendly place. We were welcomed from the phone call, I made to check we could drop in for food with a dog to the moment we left. Several dogs, and also space for those wanting not to sit with our 4-pawed friend.
Food was nice, offered options to swap chips for rice, which made a refreshing change.
Prolly my third time there over the last five years.
I tend to try something new each time, avoiding the Sunday dinner.
A bit dated inside but the conservatory dining room is newer and provides a more comfortable seating.
Staff have always been friendly and I look forward to future meals with family.
Good parking. Food OK but lacked seasoning, vegetables were soggy as if they were frozen not fresh. Chicken overcooked. My husband had jumbo fish and chips he was extremely happy with them. Service was good and staff friendly.
We like all the staff there. Always friendly, polite and helpful.
Colin, the new manager seems to be settling in nicely.
We enjoy the atmosphere there too... I think that happy staff shows in how they treat their customers.

Excellent food & plenty of it. Very reasonably priced. Had our 2 dogs with us& they were very welcome. Brought water out for them straight away. Certainly recommendation
Really friendly staff made even better by being dog friendly too!! Nina and Becks were especially lovely, attentive and obviously love dogs, which made our visit even better!
The food was well cooked and presented but the menu is pretty average.
The place could probably do with updating a bit..maybe...

Nice little pub. Short staffed at the moment so open short hours. Check before you go. Food was OK and staff were pleasant

Front of house staff were very helpful and professional, bar/kitchen members very good too.
Meals were very nice and tasty, unfortunately one of the meals did not match up to expectations and was not as described on the menu, however apart from the wilted and brown leafy lettuce it was on the whole ok.
We booked in for 12.30 and arrived at 12.10 ish for drinks, we ordered around 12.25 (three roasts and a salam salad, we waited for the roast dinners until our party member received her salad, unfortunately this took a very long time to arrive about 30 minutes, we then collected our carverys and all eat together, very nice.
At around 13.30 we ordered desserts, two Sundays and a crumble and unfortunately again these took a very long time to arrive at about 25 mins, the table next to us recieving their desserts a few moments before for us, we had ordered before them and a little joke about this was exchanged with them.
All in all this was a pleasant meal and we will call again to try other meals from the menu.
