The owner asked me to let him know how the food was, well it was tasty! Nice chips, fish was fresh and the curry sauce is a cut above! Well done, especially as everything was cooked fresh to order (maybe because it was Sunday evening). Will come back.

I haven't been to this chip shop since the new owners have taken over. I must say I wasn't disappointed. Had a large Cod, Chips and curry sauce. The gentleman who served me was polite and chatty and cooked my fish to order. Will definitely come again.

Friendly restaurant staff, beautifully cooked food, very accommodating, great host.
We chose to eat in and the dining area was bright, clean and welcoming. The food tasted great, the fish was beautifully done, light and fluffy. The chips were large and tasty. As you can see from the photo the food is definitely great value for money.
We definitely eat here and order from here again.

On the way to skegvegas our holiday starts at this chippy, even our kids opt to eat here instead of Maccy D's, this should tell you something!... Have to wait but worth it, batter crispy, amazing chips n curry sauce, and use their own secret recipe vinegar.

Amazing food. Ordered for 6 of us. Chips were the best we’ve had in a long time. All freshly cooked and while we were waiting were given complimentary chips and some curry sauce.
Shame we live down south ( knocks spots of our local chippy) and only up this way a few times a year. Will definitely return.

Dropped in on Sunday at 2pm and the new owner was alone but still engaged with us and got our orders in good time, freshly cooked. Our 7 year old asked for the recipe to the homemade curry sauce and loved his cod and chips.

Ordered a normal portion of chips from here, the portion size we ordered was smaller than we expected, it was only enough to feed say 1.5 people when there was 3 adults sharing between.

First time in here today. I couldn't have been made more welcome. The owner is a real gentleman, the food was excellent and extremely well priced for such a large, high quality, portion. I watched and listened to him look after an elderly customer who was waiting on a taxi. Old school customer service at its best, and a real credit to himself.

We visited this place as we were driving by. We had to wait a while before we were served and then quite a while for our order. In saying that, the owner and his family were very pleasant, and when the food came, it was definitely worth the wait. Freshly cooked to order and delicious. You have to try their curry sauce...

Fantastic portion size, delicious food and absolutely lovely staff. They made us feel so welcome. All this and provided at an affordable price. Brilliant takeaway and much better overall experience compared to other chippies in town. Definitely would recommend!
