Grantown Diner & Takeaway

Had one of the best done kebabs I ever had which was very good value as I happened to pick a Tuesday so two for a tenner night. Also had a pizza the following night. Saw the chef put two chicken breasts on to cook for it. None of your precut chicken chunks here. Really good. Staff were excellent and very cheerful.

Pro: tasty food, big portions, arrived fast, we cleaned the plates, had availability on a Saturday evening when everything else was bookings only, friendly staff. Con: a bit smoky inside, and it gets in the clothes, no baby changing station in the toilet (but this is a bit niche, and conscious it's not the first thing one might be looking in a diner)

Love this place. Food is lovely, staff are lovely. One """downside""" is the portions are massive ha so we end up wasting food 😔❤️😂 Also, just because I forget to ask (so totally my issue) if can be asked if want salad with it or not (my boy doesn't like the salad and always has a whinge when I get it home 😂❤️)

Holy sh*t. We stopped here after a snowboarding session not too far away after realising the local chip shop was closed. At first glance, we thought the prices were quite high (are we surprised with the state of the UK though?) especially compared to the chip shop we had our hearts set on… however 1000000% was worth the couple extra £. Burger so good that I’m sad it’s gone to the point that burps will be welcomed just so I can have a lingering taste. The onion rings- my god the onion rings- if they aren’t homemade they are the closest equivalent I’ve ever tasted. In love. And to top it off a scratch card which won us money of our “next meal” which although we aren’t local, I will be travelling for. Once again all I can say is holy sh*t. I’m still in a burger trance as I write this. Thank you for being open and so delicious.
