Lovely staff, old fashioned decor but feels homely and comfortable. Didn't try the bar, but it looked well stocked with a variety of dri nks. Food was great, lots of choice, was hot and fast to be prepared, and great to eat. Price was good, and the portion sizes are generous.

We ate here after having a really hard week, so weren't exactly in the right frame of mind to enjoy a good meal but the quality of food really cheered us up. The yellowbean sauce is incredible as is the chicken satay - it's got a good bit of crunch on the outside. This is a top quality Chinese and not the usual takeaway food at all. The service is also really considerate and friendly.

We and my wife have been coming to the Boote since we met (8 years) it takes us 40 minutes to get to the Boote but every time it is worth it.
The staff are friendly and very attentive, the food is very reasonably priced.
The deep fried chili beef and sweet and sour Hong Kong style are the best we have ever had.
Highly recommend.
