Nice and enjoyable place to be. Good view nice atmosphere.
Very big garden and lots of space. Good for families also. Kids have a space for them to enjoy.
Amazing food, random location and two play areas for the kids. Worth a visit but make a reservation first
Always a lovely welcome at The Gate. We had a party of 7 adults for Saturday lunch. The food was excellent - all arrived at once and we were all very pleased with what we had (including burgers, cajun salmon and excellent chips!)
Service was friendly and attentive.
Went to our first 'Curry Club' at the Gate. The food was exceptional, and portions were very generous. There was live entertainment between mains and dessert, which was fantastic. The belly dancer was so talented and engaging with the audience, and those brave enough to join her were welcomed. It was a really fun night, and I would definitely be coming back.
Had a really lovely lunch here today. Excellent Sunday roast (my husband loved the trio of roasts and the nut and lentil roast was delicious). Really nice atmosphere, felt really relaxed and very well looked after by the staff.
Recently dined at The Gate Pub for a Sunday carvery, and it was a great experience overall. The ambiance was comforting, and our waitresses, Leanne and Brooke, were friendly and diligent.
The carvery was spot on, well-executed and evident that the chef made an effort to cater to different dietary preferences.
Great small pub dog friendly good quality of food and beers 🍻. We are living 15min drive from there and it's our tradition to go there after nice Sunday walk for roast or something small.
Great food and service - I enjoyed a relaxed Sunday lunch with my family.

Visited for the first time this evening and kicking ourselves we didn’t visit sooner. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Fantastic Father's Day special lunch. Delicious food, served quickly and friendly, welcoming staff who also gave us left over jubilee crowns to keep our young children entertained. We will be back
