The Cafe

THE best toilets and showers we have ever seen and used on any site! Large, spacious, open pitches with hardstanding or grass. Electric and water at pitch. Old style park up, have to go in forwards if a foreign motorhome with hab door to right of pitch, no negotiation - no two pegs, park between however you wish. On site restaurant, ring order through and go and pick up, eat in or take back to pitch. Gate pass given to exit back of site through dog walk to village of Greetham or to head to Rutland Water on bikes (about 5mls). Paid £34 one night October.

Booked adults only pitch. Arrived a little early and the staff were happy to allow us onto the pitch. Pitches need a tidying up but otherwise fine. Facilities block had dog wash,laundry room and pot washing. Shower block had underfloor heating and were kept very clean by the staff. The shower cubicles were in need of some coat hangers and either a shower curtain or the dividing wall extending about 30cm to prevent your clothes from getting wet from the overseas. Overall a great site in a peaceful location with very helpful friendly staff

Thank you. We have just spent a very enjoyable week at Rutland Caravan and camping and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The facilities were very clean on the family side albeit a little dated, whereas the facilities on the adult side are wonderful and spotless. The pool was a wonderful addition and great value for private hire. All the wardens were friendly and helpful smiling whenever we saw them. A special mention has to go to Andy and the staff in the Rutland kitchen the food was really great and well priced. Freshly cooked and always on time. We will definitely be returning

OMG possibly the best C&C site we have been too. We only stayed a few days as a stop over but we will defo be back for longer. Facilities are clean and modern, washing machine and tumble dryer very good price. Grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. We like the way it is split in 2 halves for adult only or families. Staff super helpful and friendly there is a cafe on site which you have to use as food is awesome and very reasonably priced. They even have a swimming pool (booking is required at an extra cost) Great dog walk, will defo be going back for longer.
