We booked a table for our daughter. Although it was mid-werk, the place was packed. We were immediately greeted on arrival and the service from start to finish was impeccable. The team were attentive without being intrusive and they gave the birthday girl a lovely treat at the end to mark her birthday. One of the guests is lactose intolerant and the staff took great care to meet her dietary needs. And as for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We will be back!

Nipped into Theoin for a quick lunch as it was roasting hot outside and needed somewhere to cool off while grabbing lunch. It was quiet so the service was super quick. Order the goats cheese for starter and crispy hake for main and both were delicious and a good size portion! Hope to come back again for dinner to enjoy more of the menu. Thanks :)

What a wonderful place. The filo pastries in honey and Greek salad we had to start are insane. The Greek pasta and pork skewers were also delicious. Also, the Hungarian waiter was so pleasant and look after us very well. I'm definitely going back.

Incredible restaurant! Delicious food, reasonably priced, excellent service. We would recommend the boar sausage and filo parcels, as well as the pita and dips. We will definitely be back soon!

The dips and bread were nice, as was the lamb. I thought plaice was a thinner piece of fish and a different shape, not sure why it was thick. I'm not sure it was frozen fish or fresh, hard to judge. Was still nice.

Absolutely delightful place in Guildford with a modern and airy interior.
Seabream Carpaccio, citrus zest, lemon oil, fennel savings, red chili, chive oil-
amazing presents and tasted beautiful
Aubergine-
Wonderful tomato and feta crumb sauce but could be cooked more as semi raw
Fried Calamari, panko, garlic mayonnaise, cumin-batter not too thick and fried well, not to heavy
King Prawn Orzo, roasted tomato, siracha, bisque, chives, basil sauce was beautiful mix of seafood and tomato - absolutely amazing dish.
Ekmek Tsoureki, cinnamon, white chocolate cream, pistachio, orange zest desert was presented beautifully but excessive sweet cream on the top was excessively sugared with brioche bread based soaked in honey or syrup,Otherwise would have been perfect.
Wine selection but the glass- average.
Service good with the usual 12.5% charge.

Excellent Greek restaurant in the heart of Guildford. I recommend making a reservation in advance otherwise you have to be quite lucky, as the tables are always occupied, especially for dinner.
The service was very good, with our waiter speaking good English and Greek. I'm pretty sure he was Greek anyway. Our drinks and the appetizers were brought quickly.
The food was delicious and well made. We have a few starters to share between ourselves and some of the mains. I'd say the pita basket is for 2 people at most. The size of the portions is also decent.

We absolutely loved our dining experience at Theion. All the dishes were excellent, great value, great service, and great atmosphere. The interior was beautiful.
We got the set menu 2 to share between us. The bread and pittas were slightly over-salted but apart from that everything was perfect. The dessert we had (ekmek) has got to be one of the tastiest desserts we’ve ever had.
We would absolutely come again if we were in the area, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved every dish we ordered. Friendly staff. Nice and cozy interior. Would have given 5 stars but even though all the dishes had great flavor, they were all a tad too salty, especially the risotto.

We went today for my husband’s birthday (2 adults 2 kids). Absolutely brilliant service, delicious food and the venue is stunning.
Thank you to everyone who made our dinner such a lovely experience. Our waiter (sorry I didn’t get his name) was very attentive! The food was insane, good quality and good portions (filo feta pastry is a must). We will definitely be back!
