Best fry-up I've had for ages - decent ingredients perfectly cooked, with friendly service. And the majestic sauté potatoes should be mandatory on a fry-up... A far superior potato product to the tasteless, cardboard triangles of misery that have become the norm. Top marks.
First time in this cafe, very friendly service, greeted with a smile and left with a goodbye. Nice breakfast for £8.95 which included a cup of tea, all food was piping hot and tasty. Not often in Guildford, but will pop in again if I am.
We stopped at this spot after a long flight and it was just what we needed. It should be on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives - not a fancy place, but good food, good service for a good price. So if this is what you are looking for (see photo below) this is the place.
We were so excited to try the number one place on TripAdvisor but unfortunately we’re disappointed.
The menu is typical English cafe and breakfast - the hash browns were fantastic …
Popped in while my car was being MOTed down the road. Excellent food and value for money. Clean and friendly staff. Best breakfast with tinned tomatoes and black pudding I have had for a while. Definitely going back.
Nice attentive staff and quality hearty breakfast. The cafe has a good atmosphere as well it’s like being in the past in a nostalgic way. Sort of homely and everyone’s happy to be there having their breakfast or lunch while on break from their trades.
