Warm smiles and genuine hospitality is what’s this place is all about. Hungry Buddha is a family owned business managed by a humble and caring manager, Mishu from Bangladesh.
The food smelled, looked and tasted amazing, and prices are soooooo reasonable. After rushing around from shop to shop in the cold and rain, it was the best comforting and flavoursome food that made my belly happy and smily.
Eating in, taking away or using delivery apps, I definitely recommend this place.

Definitely my favourite Thai place in Guildford. I could have the green Thai curry a million times and still feel satisfied.
I hardly write reviews, but I've been so impressed with their service I had to commend them. Staff are so happy, patient, generous, and friendly. They offered me testers so I could decide what to eat, and was sold instantly. Their food is beautiful and great value for money. Brilliant service
Wonderfully tasty food, both their fresh offerings and their frozen meals. I highly recommend Hungry Buddha! The food is amazing and they are very friendly and kind. I recommend the Honey Chicken and Sesame Chicken Toast. The frozen meals are just as good as the fresh ones, and so easy to make - just a few mins in the microwave. The service is exceptional, flexible and friendly - Mishu always puts a smile on my face. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. A lovely business made up of lovely people.
Wannut and her team came to do the food for our daughter's wedding. They did a wonderful job! They were efficient and arrived on time and set the food out beautifully. The Thai food as all vegetarian and was delicious and even the meat eaters really enjoyed it. The team were delightful to work with and I would totally recommend them. Thank you to Hungry Buddha!
My partner and I have been eating here since they opened many years ago. We travel to Guildford simply for their food which is always superb! Even throughout the pandemic, they provided 🙏🏼 Love the staff members ✨
Return visit after a few years away from the area. Still very good quality food and selection. Friendly staff and very good value for money especially compared to the big name chains.
The chilli tofu is one of my favourite foods, ever. I've tried to recreate it at home but can't get the tofu that spongey - It's so delicious! I also had the pleasure of enjoying their (vegan) chocolate fudge cake and that was beautifully moist and delicious! So happy HB are managing to stay open through the pandemic!
